Ive said this to many hermits, do NOT be afraid to ask others for tips or help. You have a bonkers pool of resources to pull from in the form of your work/friend group known as the HC server. Inwould try to have a sit down with Gem, Pearl, Scar and Bdubs just to chat about trees and organics in general. I guarantee not only will they all be down to help you out but youll also learn a lot. Those 4 Hermits combined are a ridiculous font of knowledge especially with organic shapes, terraforming, tricky things like trees, and even the times its ok to throw everything out the window and go boldly in a different direction (like Scars solid cubic trees from Scarland).

This is the first non-Hermitcraft video of yours that I’ve seen, iirc. I like how you gave the seed & give coordinates so that people can play along, & how you’re describing things. The treehouse is great, too. I’m submitting my entry for a Java copy of Minecraft because I’m mostly bedridden these days, & I want to have a goal to get back to my computer to play the game that I love watching you Hermits play. (Writing this propped up in bed on my phone. My hand dexterity needs a mouse & keyboard, unfortunately, so I can’t easily play the PE version.)

New sub here: Really excited for this series. I like your style and the tree was beautiful. I really enjoyed how you showed the coordinates so people can play along with you. I think it could be cool in a year to see a compilation of how you and the viewers all build the same world differently. As per the MC code if you have a pc code i would love to use it to play challenge maps, learn redstone and building better (more creativity) and maybe try the servers. I haven't played mc since I was a kid on PlayStation 3 lol. Anyways Thank You for the good vibes content. PS how did your xp bar look rainbow while you were in the cave? I loved it!

I am endlessly amused at the dichotomy of your ruthless adventurer persona who always builds the coziest bases! 😂 Also, wow!!! Monster Hunter advancement not obtained until in the nether?!? Netherite pickaxe on day 5??? Seriously, that alone would make me grab a villager and break a lectern until I got mending, but I am an overcautious farmer through and through. That's actually one of the things I like best about your channel, actually: the way you consistently make courageous (though sometimes definitely foolhardy) choices that I would never in this world...

I'm not a long time viewer, I've only been following minecraft content for the last year or two. I can break down a few points that lead me to either watch or not watch a video. Upload dumps and time restrictions. I know it isn't necessarily planned or coordinated, but once in a while there are several creators that upload videos at the same day or time even. While I try to watch all of it, I only have so much time so some videos will slip through the cracks. KZbin will always consistently put a video from mumbo for example because he has so many subscribers. When big current events happen, even though I don't watch any news videos it will still put those on my feed rather than a minecrsft video from somebody I watch that was uploaded a few days ago. As for something more specific to this video, consistency is key. It's a new series, I love early minecraft, but it is more gridy and I can see how it isn't as entertaining to everybody. When somebody sees a new upload for a single player series, they have a pretty good idea of what episode 1 content is so they might not click ok it. Also recurring viewers might not be as interested because it wasn't that long ago since your last hard-core world started. While I think a new setting and starting from the beginning makes for the best content and most fun experience, starting a whole new world might cause people who were invested in the last world to lose interest, and not want to invest in a new one for fear that it will end soon. And that is the problem with hard-core worlds to me, the nature of the game forces you to restart for time. The risk is good for challenge style content, but not so much long form let's plays. I love how gem did a "restart" for her single player let's play. She just moved a few hundred blocks away and pretended it was a new world. It helps keep a single world going so people will stay invested, and down the road when new viewers discover the channel they have a long lost to binge watch. Even etho has moved to new terrain and built new bases to keep his series interesting, but agyer spending some time you always have the rest of the world to go back to. To speak to why I enjoy your content in particular, you are very good at expression/communication. It's fun to watch somebody having fun, and the way you narrate and talk to the audience really feels like we are there on the couch with you. It's probably my favorite part about your content style, it's very personal and engaging, where most creators feel like they're talking to a general audience, you're very good at capturing the feeling thay you are speaking to each individual person watching. The last bit I can think about is variety of projects. Being able to switch between builds (which is another thing you're very good at) farm designing, and pointless fun Redstone or game mechanic projects makes a series feel full and well rounded. Unfortunately, part of the poor turnout is probably due to current events taking over a lot of people's feed and there isn't much you can control about that. But I do feel focusing on your strengths of being a very personable content creator while keeping the series going for longer is a good direction to go in. Maybe pick up more Redstone projects like you said so you have several different types of projects to bounce around to will keep the videos and your playing experience more versatile and keep everybody more engaged. Maybe even make shorter episodes (15-20) and upload every 4ish days, because the other thing that draws people in is seeing consistent attention for that series by the creator. Maybe that's all just my opinion, I'm not actually a youtuber and minecrsft content is literally all I watch, so my view might be skewed. But I hope some of that perspective might be useful and that this series levels out and gets more views. Being such a relatable and personable creator, I think your single player content is some of the most enjoyable solo content and it is surprising to hear it's not going well this time around

Look self-nominating feels super-super weird to me... But hey lemme not blabber on. So my story is that I vividly remember buying minecraft for my family's Xbox 360 in 2018, playing in a sweltering hot room and not caring because I could play minecraft. It was also one of the ways me and my younger brother would spend time with each other (which we didn't really like doing or should I say was extremely rare if it didn't end in nuclear-level arguments....) but playing minecraft was one of the only ways we'd enjoy spending time together without fighting. Another vivid memory is that we would wake up before school to play, even after our mom had scolded us and probably punished us numerous times. We just couldn't get enough of it. Even when there were only 3 tree types in the game XD. Fast forward to COVID we had to sell up (from the furniture to the Xbox to the pots and pans) and move (not to get tmi but we were oh-so-broke). I wanted to play Minecraft so desperately but couldn't afford to buy it. Another fast forward and things are a touch better, but still couldn't afford to buy it. I started 'playing' vicariously through Lets-plays and HermitCraft. If anything it made me want to play even more! Now me and a bunch of close friends (basically family who've been with us through our darkest) want to play together, but we can't... Because me and my brother have to share an old Bedrock account. So we can't play together, or we'll have to pick and choose (most likely starting up our now a thing of the past, nuclear-level arguments.) So I would like to ask for the one Bedrock code, so that me, my brother, our 'family' and significant others can all play together. To foster that special and rare friendship, fellowship and community we've found. If you're even considering this, thank you so much! (And sorry for the essay....) Thx from a broke kid in South Africa.

Posting here hoping Jevin sees it, Bro for the head shop, just get the hermits to make a couple rare or unique version of their heads, throw them in a randomized head dispenser, charge 8 diamonds for a random head. There are many hermits who just throw diamonds at gambling and luck games. They always perform very well on the hermitcraft server. OR go RUN with it. ( i think that's what it was called, but make a luck based set of small obstacles, where hermits buy a chance to get a random head. They'll still do it, like all day. You play minecraft with a ton of nerds who play TCGs, they can't not collect things if it feels like opening a booster pack.
