I think they should reveal the goals to the streamers half an hour beforehand and they arent allowed to google but they can strategize with the chat to come up with ways to complete objectives efficiently and also come up with big brain plans to outsmart the opponent. That way it would be a lot less aimless wandering and hoping you get an objective before the other and a lot more of strategized gameplay with a big aspect of randomness of course ... i think the strategies and the neck and neck last second match was why the last one was so great.

I'm pretty sure there's a public google doc of the goals... It's not just the 25 that will be played, sure, but many streamers seem to choose not to do thorough research, which puts smallant at a massive advantage, with his many hours of play time of lockout.

Of course I love illumina just as much as the next guy but he himself is willing to admit that he should've won if he had been looking at the board better, and that's on him, not on smant

@@king_alloy I think it was clear that smant developed these goals and therefore was more familiar with what the symbols meant (like he knew the goals in advance maybe, idk). Therefore when the problem is clearly on a misunderstanding of what the goals meant, it'd be both more fair and more interesting if they reset the goal. Also, Illumina is a streamer so he has pressure put on him to not spend 30 mins just studying the card in silence... but smant could do that offline as he was the one creating these goals. TLDR smant didn't "have to" reset, but it would've been better sportsmanship to reset (or at least do something different so it wouldn't happen a second time!)

@@Benw8888 yes he does know the goals in advance, but that's what the first 60 seconds are for, for you to understand and read the bingo card and the goals within them, almost none if not none of the goals that are mentioned there need further explanation beyond what they say in text, and if it does, smant would explain it. In addition, Illumina isn't the only one SmallAnt has faced in a lockout before, and if Illumina got the reset treatment, that would be less sportsmanlike and unfair for those he had already faced and gave the same treatment he did Illumina. In fact I'd say that not giving him that reset treatment is more respectful as it shows that SmallAnt knows that Illumina is great and doesn't need it to beat him. It's why for the overall record, it's tied 2-2, with SmallAnt having the advantage of Lockout specific knowledge, and Illumina generally being more skillful.
