Bugs are technically just any little non-mammalian critter at this point in colloquial language. "Bugs" TECHNICALLY doesn't care about 6-leggedness, it only cares about creatures in the Hemiptera order, which includes things like lice, bedbugs, cicadas, etc. So you'd have arachnids as one group then insects as another, with a subgroup called "bugs" within insects that doesn't cover every creature in the greater whole.
