Honestly, the twist isn't overpowered. The power level depends on the knowledge of the person using it and how good at saving they are. If this fell into the hands of someone like ClownPierce or Philza, the amount of power and leverage granted by the mod would be obscene.

Minecraft Manhunt, but I can turn coal blocks to diamonds. So I could be wrong but if you can make 2 blaze powder from 1 blaze rod can you reverse craft 1 blaze powder into 1 rod? If so that's infinite rods and powder. It worked for the iron bars. 6 iron to make 16 bars but he reverse crafted 2 bars into 12 iron.
