The Hydra Stomper was/ is a suit of indestructible armor powered by the Tesseract. It’s pilot is Captain Steve Rogers. It was made by Howard Stark during Ww2 to help Steve join the war effort after he was crippled by a Hydra agent. The same one who shot the doctor in the movie. So Peggy Carter became the first Avenger and Steve became the first Iron Man

Steve Rogers became the Hydra Stomper in Marvel’s “What If”. It’s an alternate dimension where Captain never got the SS Serum and instead Peggy Carter was the one who took it. So in order to join the war effort Howard Stark made and indestructible suit of armor powered by the Tesseract and named it Hydra Stomper and gave it to Rogers. And nothing can destroy it. Not a nuke or a tank missile
