The only way I killed a Warden was with fully maxed out enchanted netherite gear with a stack of enchanted golden apple t totems of undying and a really broken sword to top it off and I still didn't kill so I got my friends to help while I chugged enchanted golden apples and I eventually soloed like 6 of them hitting all at once but I kinda need like turtle master potion and like 3 stacks of enchanted golden apples with like 12 totems of undying and Luke 2 set of netherite fully enchanted armor and do mind ON A HARDCORE SERVER so I was risking a 50000 hour server to kill 6! 6! Warden.. biggest risk of my life.

Once the Warden roars at something, no other vibrations will distract it and it will lock on its target until it’s dead, also Sculk sensors just detect the vibrations, if they are near Shriekers, it will send a signal to the Shrieker and it will scream and cause a darkness affect (so does the Warden), if the Shrieker screams more than 2 times, the Warden will emerge from the ground, you also don’t need to sneak on wool, wool doesn’t make any vibrations

Entering Battle with an enemy with no knowledge of enemy give the enemy the advantage. A person who carefully plans for battle will not fear in actual battle. On Normal Mode, the Warden has 500 HP (♥ × 250) Melee 30 (♥ × 15) Range 10 (♥♥♥♥♥) It's attacks go through blocks and armor! It can easily kill a person wearing Netherite. It's Immune to Fire and Water, tho it can get stuck the later. It can still do ranged attacks in water. The only way I can kill them is using cheats or spawning a couple dozen brutes on it in a confined space.

Apparently you can build high enough to outrange its shriek, and also someone set up a tower with cobwebs (creative, they were testing and then went into survival) and used a regen potion and golden carrots to out heal the shriek, meanwhile the shriek could not knock him off because he was in the cobweb. Of course it was also enchanted netherite too. But enchanted netherite and regen can absolutely outheal the shriek for you to bow spam him. I just wanna see someone fight him in hand to hand combat, but given its high damage ans quick AI, I doubt you could dodge its attacks even if you were a pro.

A few extra things The shriek beam only has a 20 block range and its not immune to cactus so you could theoretically contain the spawns based on the location of a shrieker and push it with water into a pit with cactus and kill it that way. Its incredibly difficult if you've already spawned one but if you get the trap set up first and then spawn it and run a ways away it'll die. Another set of helpful tips is everything on how the sensors and shriekers work. Sensors wont pick up signals from more than 9 blocks away or detect wool being placed or broken. Shriekers will only activate if a sensor relays the signal or if something walks directly on top of it. Wool blocks signals and can be placed around sensors and shriekers to stop signal travel allowing for easier dismantling of complex signal channels near chests and walkways. Wool and carpet will muffle footsteps and you may walk freely at any speed as long as that is the block your walking on. Shriekers also must be activated 4 times for a Warden to spawn with the first 3 being warnings also shown by subtitles the 4th activation will summon a Warden along with any activation after that by the same player within a certain period of time. It takes about 5 minutes or so of not activating any shriekers for this countdown to renew with each activation of a shrieker resetting the counter and making you wait another 5 or so minutes. Also Wardens will not ever change their aggro, if they are actively hunting a certain player or mob it will not stop until it is hit by another or it gets a kill on the entity it was hunting. If you are within I think about 20 or so (this may be inaccurate) blocks the Warden will be able to smell you. Once it gets close enough it will gain aggro and attack. Deep Dark biomes may spawn anywhere in the world below y=-45 or so however the only place to find shriekers is near or in an Ancient City. Shriekers placed by players or the fill command will not summon any Wardens ever but will still give the Darkness effect when activated. You can tell when a shrieker will not be able to summon a Warden by looking at the souls swirling inside it. Placed shriekers will have noticably slower and dimmer souls swirling in it while generated shriekers will be bright and fast. 1 last thing the Warden's canonical name is William.

The warden is really scary to a minecraft player because mojang took everything easily used to kill a mob regardless of it's power, lava, hitting from a pillar, swiping at it's feet, and even hiding from it and made the warden immune to it. yeesh.

When Yellow had no idea of the sonic boom attack I smiled. I thought he would know that from videos of people showing the snapshots or even the changelog when 1.19 dropped or even the wiki page for it. You should do a rematch of this after doing more research. Maybe to make things spicier add another Hunter but with keep inventory off. The ancient city is a place where you need to be stealthy and use wool and carpet to safe walk and run on to not set off any sensors. The Warden is meant to be avoided and not fought. During the snapshots Mojang buffed it so you couldn’t cheese it. Hiding in a hole next to it? It can sniff you out. Stacking up 4 blocks or more to snipe it or use a sword? It can use a sonic boom attack to knock you off or use an an alternate attack. In a hidey hole with an opening to use a bow? Its sonic boom can go through blocks. Use a lava bucket or water to drown or burn it? Immune to both. Using netherite armor? 2 or 3 shots you with its arms. Using protection on it? Sonic boom ignores protection AND shields AND armor itself. Even the Wither shield. Good luck killing one. ESPECIALLY if it’s on the Hard difficulty. It has 250 hearts and on Hard it does 22.5 hearts with melee and does 7.5 with the sonic boom. Your best bet is Easy mode and even then, good luck.

wardens are nasty :E but if you build up high enough that it can still follow you, there is a range where it cant shoot you with its sonic screech. Then just bowspam/drop tnt. you need to make sure you are high enough up though. a little bit higher than the naturally cleared out cave space should do. (not in the center)

It's actually hilarious how yellow thought he can kill a warden while he didn't even do any research about them. The only way to kill it is to first trap it, and continuously hitting with an axe or a sword, when it start to do sonic attack, start eating tons of golden apples or generation potions. Alternatively, you can build a farm for warden... and drown it.

All of you criticizing the warden don't get it, it's meant to be a force of nature you avoid. You can turn the them off if you want, you can even go in setting and lower the effects of darkness. It's completely optional challenges. It's not something you fight, it's something you run away from at any and all costs. And you might wonder why even go there? Because the loot there is actually really good unlike what you guys think. The recovery compass is fine, but not amazing, most people don't play hardcore, and the swift sneak enchantment is unironically really really cool, and helpful in an an unexpected amount of scenarios, but the real star is the amount of god apples there. I once went in with 0 God apples and came out with 18 like that's insane in any context. For PVP, for hardcore, for regular survival, for even killing the warden itself.

There is a way to cheese it. You need a conduit and regen potions. Lure the warden into deep water with a full sized conduit. You just need to keep yourself alive while the conduit kills it.

The reason for going to the Ancient Cities is for the loot, which is really good if you are determined enough. The Warden is supposed to be avoided. To help get the loot is by using wool, which doesn't let sound past through it.

I am backing up Kier, you CAN "train" your feet. I have done it. It hurts for the first time. Basically, as your thin skin on your feet slowly get a bit hurt by pointy gravel or rough concrete, your body goes "I am damaged, repair time" and, just like exercising, you can use the way your body repairs the skin on your feet to make it thicker and tougher, stronger, faster, grippier, better. I have gone for a walk just to exercise. With no shoes. No socks. Barefoot.

Yellow, with how much damage Wardens do and how much they've been buffed - to beat one(and yes, you should do a warden rematch) the optimal kit is Prot 4 full netherite, and lots of Turtle Master Level 2 potions on standby, and drinking them- also eat a golden apple of the many you surely brought along, for the absorption 1's extra gold hearts For offense, Sharp 5 netherite swords and axes with Strength 2 WITH a bunch of strength 2 potions on hand and drinking them- AND attacking the Warden with CRITICAL hits s much as possible- With this, you'll kill it in 20 hits (sword) or less(axe) and turtle master 2's resistance 4 is powerful enough to let you survive. having golden apples on hand to keep absorption and some regen going, and you're good to go- but this is actually what it takes to overpower the Warden in a fistfight. The SECRET to match the Warden, is Turtle Master level 2- bring lots of these- and you'll be able to fight it out melee wise - Just munch a normal golden apple every now and then. For emergencies bring god apples - and for optional support items to bring , totems, regen potions and health potions at level 2, power 5 punch 2 bow with SPECTRAL arrows , night vision potions, ender pearls for movement with featherfalling 4 on your boots to go with them, and maybe swiftness 2 to help with turtle master's slowness. Up close the warden doesnt use sonic boom, but fun fact, Turtle Master's resistance will actually drastically reduce the sonic boom's damage- its the ONLY THING that does so.

This gave me an idea Minecraft Manhunt: Boss Rush > Objective is to kill every boss/boss-like mob in the game, with most Manhunt rules. >The Mobs can be handled in any order, as long as the Ender Dragon is done last. >The mobs that must be defeated are as follows: Elder Guardian, Warden, Wither, Ender Dragon, (optional) Pillager outpost & Raid. >Each player would start with 4/5 lives, and with each boss defeated the amount of extra lives would decrease. This results in 1 life per runner for The Ender Dragon. These lives to not replenish. >If a runner dies and can respawn, they must do so within 5 minutes. >If a runner dies and can respawn, Hunters must clear the area (500x500) and allow the runner to start again. >Runners get compasses to track teammates >Runners must work together. You can't have one person do The Elder Guardian while another does The Warden >No KeepInventory for anyone, except for Compasses via plugin >If all runners are permanently dead, the Hunters win.

Yello, whenever you place a block the sculk sensor will detect the sound. Only wool prevents any sound to be detected(not lying) and I am not sure but if you use ur shield for the sonic boom, the laser thingy, it works... So, just cover the shrieker and sensor with wool because it prevents any sound to be detected.

at 9:59, the reason why Kier was hit despite blocking is because vanilla minecraft has a 5 tick delay when blocking with a shield before you are actually protected from damage

If you ever do a pt two dig a tunnel 2 blocks tall 1 block wide and at least 16 blocks deep but preferably 20 or more deep, then spawn one in get it agro it and lead it to the tunnel it will be to big to fit and you'll be out of range of it's attacks and you can bow it to death if I remember correctly you'll need about two stacks of arrow assuming you hit all your shoots

All I knew about the warden is that it is hard to kill. Aside from me nearly having 3 strokes and a heart attack after realizing that the skull shrieked summons it on the 2nd-3rd call, I realized that I made a megamistake. Btw, it can also spawn in peaceful mode, and it makes it even more scarier.

I think 15 blocks is the Warden Sonic Boom distance. It's also immune to drowning and Fire. It's Undead so do with that as you will.

Yeah you probably should've done some research, Yellow. You practically need full protection 4 netherite armor, a sharpness 5 netherite sword, and a bunch of enchanted golden apples to defeat a Warden. Also shields are pointless against them since they disable shields by slapping them. Also the sonic boom 100% ignores armor and shields and have a minimum range of 25-30. When I saw this video I was like "I'd bet $1,000 that he dies" because of this stuff.

got 2 interesting manhunt ideas: -but i trained an allay: use an item to send allay to steal from target or bring a random item, cooldown 15 seconds. when targeting allay quickly hits your enemy, whoever it targets gets a random item slot stolen from their inventories (like a whole stack of wood, shield or axe, random, goes through shield). random item can be anything from op stuff to random items. -but you are the warden: passive abilities 2 rows of health wardens don't attack you immune to fire ultrasound ears (whenever you detect a sound wave from hunters they glow for 10 seconds) active abilities: .spread moss and detectors/summon blocks (you can set up a large area as trap and summon wardens on your enemies, or get necessary items), cooldown 5 minutes. .hold block uninterrupted (breaking shield) for 5 seconds then release a sonic wave laser attack. .slam attack, deal damage like a warden and launch your enemies upward, cooldown of 45 seconds .ultimate ability, summon 3 warden allies, cooldown of 15 minutes

A few extra things The shriek beam only has a 20 block range and its not immune to cactus so you could theoretically contain the spawns based on the location of a shrieker and push it with water into a pit with cactus and kill it that way. Its incredibly difficult if you've already spawned one but if you get the trap set up first and then spawn it and run a ways away it'll die. Another set of helpful tips is everything on how the sensors and shriekers work. Sensors wont pick up signals from more than 9 blocks away or detect wool being placed or broken. Shriekers will only activate if a sensor relays the signal or if something walks directly on top of it. Wool blocks signals and can be placed around sensors and shriekers to stop signal travel allowing for easier dismantling of complex signal channels near chests and walkways. Wool and carpet will muffle footsteps and you may walk freely at any speed as long as that is the block your walking on. Shriekers also must be activated 4 times for a Warden to spawn with the first 3 being warnings also shown by subtitles the 4th activation will summon a Warden along with any activation after that by the same player within a certain period of time. It takes about 5 minutes or so of not activating any shriekers for this countdown to renew with each activation of a shrieker resetting the counter and making you wait another 5 or so minutes. Also Wardens will not ever change their aggro, if they are actively hunting a certain player or mob it will not stop until it is hit by another or it gets a kill on the entity it was hunting. If you are within I think about 20 or so (this may be inaccurate) blocks the Warden will be able to smell you. Once it gets close enough it will gain aggro and attack. Deep Dark biomes may spawn anywhere in the world below y=-45 or so however the only place to find shriekers is near or in an Ancient City. Shriekers placed by players or the fill command will not summon any Wardens ever but will still give the Darkness effect when activated. You can tell when a shrieker will not be able to summon a Warden by looking at the souls swirling inside it. Placed shriekers will have noticably slower and dimmer souls swirling in it while generated shriekers will be bright and fast. 1 last thing the Warden's canonical name is William.

A little research goes a long way, as in minecraft anything is possible with preparation. Wardens are actually really easy to counteract. Build up twenty two blocks or so and shoot arrows at them. No potions or armor needed.

btw a different YTer tried killing one of them in survival... he had a full inv of arrows, turtelmaster potions and was full netherite max prot and still died before killing one... in the end he respawned several hundred times right next to it, hit it once then died to it just to finally have killed it in survival... btw a warden has 500 HP and can easily battle multiple iron golems without dieing... so good luck on trying to do this again

A Warden is probably stronger than that Centipede so yeahhh... I didn't expect you to survive even without a hunter. You could try defeating one with 4 people tho like you did with the bosses. Yeah, Yello, I don't think you'd ever be able to kill even one Warden, even without a hunter. To test, I made a bedrock prison with a low ceiling and spawned in one Warden and three Withers, complete with their spawn explosion and had them fight. The Warden won.

You know if I had friends who know how to play and wanna play minecraft I would do this : I would call it Minecraft WardenHunt, but seing YelloWool do it Im sure he would do research and make it Minecraft WardenHunt, But Deepslate is Op or something like that But you can actually outsmart the warden and even create multiple tactics since I mean its manhunt not a speedrun so you have all the time in the world. And if you come with the write set of tools like Hoes and water you can actually spawn camp the warden and farm it, but you would need a Silk Touch Hoe to get a skulk sensor and then use it to summon the warden from far and then you would just need to get the final hit if you accurately Know how many damage its supposed to take and how many seconds it needs or you can Take time and get end crystals and Respawn Anchors about 10 and if you find some enchanted golden apples in the chest they would also be helful and you can finish off with combat or you bow spam it as someone said by building a small tower of cobwebs or you can do multiple other things for example this idea I created where you place a block on top of the shrieker and bow spam the block with two stacks of arrows and then activate the shrieker and break the block then pearl out or if your on bedrock you know that tinting arrow thing where you don't need to use Dragons breath you can make a cauldron with iron and get three harming potions and fill the cauldron and then right click it with arrows and they would become harming arrows and just use it on the warden and its an easy win.

I have a vidieo idiea. Minecraft fight in a warden city. It would work something like you have a hour to get stuff then it spawns you and your friends in the city where you have 3 lifes and fight till one stands. And it would be cool to see everyones pov: like yours, bossfers, devs, kiers and so on, the warden would make it harder to fight and survive but would make it 100 times more intresting

Kier you said it wrong it's sonic boom not lasers or the other thing you said.There is no warden dimension yellow and the warden has an ability of when you get close to it.It will blind you not even night vision potions will help.The snow balls are for distracting it if it comes throw a snow ball somewhere far away from you.Also the sonic boom goes through walls.the sonic boom also reaches up to 20 blocks I think.So go up higher than that.Bows are the easy way to kill the warden you need like less than 50. MOST IMPORTANT I insist you crouch because the way the warden follows you is the things that has a blue sound when you walk.Carpets work or wool blocks.
