This build is really good. But it isn't a tutorial. It is more like try to follow and copy my build during the time lapse because I sure as hell won't be explaining how I built that wall and stuff. So basically, next time lapse.

I love this kind of thing and I really learn alot but for me its not usually the buildings that I have the most trouble with. It's the nature and the detailing in my builds. I build on ravand and the series that I enjoyed the most was the Architect plot, I learned so much from that and it really helped me with my building. If you would do another series like that I would be really happy but I also think that there will be a big audience. In a series like that u really show how to think and what to do. Which I think is the part that most people struggle with.
@Dukonred19 жыл бұрын
Hampus Ågren what is wrong with the seabridge series?
@hampusagren86429 жыл бұрын
Dukonred1 There isn't anything wrong with the Seabridge series, per se (#Dukon), but it goes into the part of building houses and interiors, more then how to create atmosphere, detail (especially in nature). Which is the part of building that I have problems with. And I know that there are a lot of people out there who really learn more from Seabridge than from the Architect plot, i'm just saying that that's not what I have problems with. Btw, no hate on the Seabridge series. I absolutely love it and watch every episode. Can't wait to see how it evolves.

I just built this entire thing ( of course a few things were different because I'm limited to skins since im using the nintendo switch). It took me damn near forever to finish this thing and I still haven't started on the interior. I'm also doing it in survival, but I had to watch this at .25 speed just to try and get everything right. Cool build, but I hope you do more in depth "tutorials" in the future. ( And sometimes when ur building, you cant even see what your doing because your out of frame. I had to look at the shadows or fast forward to try and guess what you did.)

@Dukonred19 жыл бұрын
It is called the metacycler plugin, also the biomecycler plugin. All of this you can get accustomed to on the ravand.org server and find out all its cool features. I would suggest (if you wanted to try it out) to join the server on 1.7.10 minecraft with the current conquest resource pack and have optifine installed. You are able to get these features for yourself on your own personal server if you wanted, but the best place to find it easily is on ravand. Upon joining the creative server, type /warp dukonmeta to find all the updated metadata and biomespecific blocks.

@Dukonred19 жыл бұрын
peter radinovic first of all here is part two - kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6aQh62cgq6XecU And I like the idea of a medieval school, however schooling in the medieval times were done in churches/monastaries. They didn't really have official school houses except for class rooms in castles and such. Atleast that is what I'm aware of.

You have a great mind for this design stuff. Im in the process of making one similar to this following your instructions, though you do need work on explaining your ideas. It would have been useful to better understand the foundation and its purposes and just your reasoning for its layout. It really confused me why some vertical beams are part of the wall and some on the outside. Either way, great work! Really enjoying this structure so far.

Any general tips you could give for making large buildings? I personally am pretty decent with smaller builds, but with larger builds I tend to get stuck a lot.
@Dukonred19 жыл бұрын
Erimentos101 Well I don't know how else to say it other than watch my videos. It just sorta comes as you build up, you envision a shape, and do your best to maintain an aspect ratio.
@Erimentos1019 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips :) I mainly took from this build to use a skeleton early on. I tend to go floor by floor and get "builder's block" halfway through, especially since i tend to think of interiors before exterior, so things end up boxy.

+Sensei Beez we are in 1.7.10 minecraft which utilizes a feature called metadatas (metacycler plugin). In order to use this, you'll first need the plugin for you're server, 1.7.10 conquest, 1.7.10 optifine with connected textures and be on 1.7.10 minecraft. If you want easy access, you could try our custom launcher ravand.org/launcher and maybe come visit our ravand community

Oh my..The build itself is truly amazing, it's beautiful, well thought out, and very useful.The video however, was not. This is a time lapse of you building, you don't specify the front until very late into the build, and trying to follow along produces nothing but a mess. You need to at least add block counts, and explain a few things better. Very good build on your part, but in the future, I would suggest doing a slower video, or just renaming this to a timelaps.

Bruce Lee I do have some block by block tutorials, but my prefered tutorial style is show you the idea so you can recreate something of your own. Building something of your own should be much more enjoyable anyways. My intention is to make it more enjoyable for you as a viewer so that you can take this idea, and make it yours.
