I don't think anyone said this yet: it's REALLY impressive how you managed to make this an actual machine. Most noteblock covers are just 1 straight line of noteblocks, so it requires the player moving along with the music, but since megalovania is composed of just a few different parts that play together in a certain way, you managed to compress it to such a small size by automatically reusing the "tracks" that already played those parts before. It's genius! Most noteblock songs are like CDs and just read a stream of sequential data, but this is like something you see in an actual DAW (audio editor) with tracks being switched on and off etc

Still an amazing accomplishment but I was honestly surprised it wasn't smaller, there's a ton of unnecessarily long redstone lines and the circuit is extremely spread out, I think you could probably condense it to about an eighth of the size without changing any of the function
@USER-jb2er3xr1t Жыл бұрын
@@exquisitetoast3859 It’s because you need to place note blocks away from the player to express soft notes.

I mean, to be fair, the redstone doesn't look that difficult I'm in no way good at redstone and couldn't even begin to make this thing myself, but the individual components don't seem especially complicated. The hardest part would probably be making it so a timed circuit could repeat a set number of times before automatically moving on to the next part, and I made something like that fucking around with observers in creative Again, i'm not very good at redstone, i'm just saying this seems like one of those designs that's comprised mostly of simple components in a complex fashion. Now, making sure each individual note was the appropriate pitch and somehow making noteblocks hold a note for longer than a few seconds seems like it would've been an absolute pain. One wrong step and you'd have to go through the whole machine troubleshooting everything.

@@emilygordbort7300nahh, redstone mechanics are too hard like this one in vidio, its has to years or months to do
I've heard it said that Megalovania covers and remixes have become a full-fledged genre of music. For sheer scale, I have to consider this one of the best examples.

Aside from a few notes that differ from the original track and some bits that can't be really made without maybe command blocks, this is a very robust and effective creation! Thank you for sharing it!
