This was sooo fun to build! It’s exactly what I had in mind for my mushroom/fantasy village! I use mizunos texture pack and the red blocks + red mushroom blocks looked kind of funky together. But I replaced them with amethyst + purple concrete, purple wool, and purple terracotta and it’s so magical and pretty! Thank you thank you thank you!

Awesome tutorial! I did this in survival but instead of regular wood with cherry blossom wood and moss instead of mushrooms, absolutely love how it turned out! I would say, if any suggestions, to possibly put a caption on screen for what you are doing, captions are a lot more helpful for me and others than speaking!

Hi there phoebe, Im glad you like this build and video! In order to keep the video to a reasonable length I cut down the footage from the back side of the roof as it is just like the front. If you are having trouble with texturizing, feel free to directly copy the front side as it is the same shape and remember that when it comes to texture, you cant really go wrong and everyone's texture will look a bit different. Also keep in mind that as long as you follow the shape created by the gable walls, your roof will end up the right shape Happy building! - Wild 🌷

Check you have the trapdoor in the correct position and you have to hold shift / crouch to place something on a trapdoor. Hope that helps

Hi Saidee, Im so glad you like the mansion and have enjoyed creating it! 😁🍄 As my friend JJaaxx said, double check you dont have your trapdoors on the top of the block the lantern is meant to go on and that instead they are placed on the lower level of the block above where the lanterns go (you can see this by looking closely at 5:20 ). You can check your trapdoors are lantern ready as you should be able to place a block directly on them, if not just move it up a bit 😊

I love this build and the tutorial was easy to follow! A bit tricky to do in survival, but not too bad. Though note to self, the roof looks terrible with mizuno craft lol but I was able to modify it. Unfortunately the resource pack makes the mushroom blocks really bright red, and all the other red blocks are really dark ;w; Just a psa for anyone else using mizuno craft for this build lol Thank you so much for this build!

i absolutely love the build! the only problem is that we never have the full tutorial of the texturing.. which lets us with 1/3 or 2/3 of the texturing looking weird compared to the rest...

I'm using the mushroom quest mod so I ended up adding tiny mushrooms on the roof! And since I using 1.16.5 I had to improvise the moss with wool and concrete powder :')

Hi there Ash&Liz, that number is the total number of a mixture of those materials - so for the 238 foundation blocks, you might have 68 moss, 100 cobblestone and 70 mossy cobblestone adding up to the total number of materials 😺So the distribution is up to you, you may choose to have more of a one block than another or divide it evenly Hope this helps and Happy building 😊🍄

Hey there, where it says "532 red wool/red concrete... etc" that means a total of 532 blocks of a mixture of those materials 😊 In the case of this roof I use mainly red concrete so the most of that, then red mushroom blocks, a bit of red wool and a bit of moss Hope this helps, happy building 😊🍄

Hi there A Amit 😊 This is definitely a big project in survival but it is totally doable! I recommend gathering as much of the materials as you can before you begin building, that way you dont have to stop mid way through building something to gather. Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this part of the build - I would suggest checking the trapdoor is at the right level and clicking on the wall block behind the lantern location (this can work if crouch placing isnt working for you). unfortunately I dont play bedrock, but if you are having trouble I would suggest checking the trapdoor is at the right level and clicking on the wall block behind the lantern location (this can work if crouch placing isnt working for you). When you play on bedrock and you try to build the windows but you can’t ;v;

It can be tricky to move in the same way on bedrock as you can in Java. My suggestion would be to try using placeholder blocks as something you place blocks on to, Im wishing you lots of Wild luck and im sure you can do it! 😊🍄

Hi there Sean, in order to keep the video to a reasonable length I cut down the footage from the back side of the roof as it is just like the front. If you are having trouble with texturizing, feel free to directly copy the front side as it is the same shape and remember that when it comes to texture, you cant really go wrong and everyone's texture will look a bit different. Also keep in mind that as long as you follow the shape created by the gable walls, your roof will end up the right shape Happy building! - Wild 🌷
