Myth: An entity that has a potion effect of speed will display speed particles, But will NOT have speed. Even though every other potion effect does work on an entity. This works for all entities but ocelots and cats.

The reason Ice makes you go faster is to with the way Ice modifies the players speed. Speed is defined as an Int and Ice seems to exponentially change it therefore leading to the way Ice makes you go faster when Sprint Jumping.

Is it possible to run faster than TNT, if anyone asks, yes, it is. I put TNT all over an island and I set it and I beat it's explosion chain speed. This was on Xbox 360 through, so if you are wondering that for xbox, then yes

kill will by putting tnt under his house or where he spawns and and put cobweb around the place that he spawns and put a presser plate underneath him so if he tries to get out he will set of the tnt on the presser plate and get trapped in the web and he wont be able to get out because the cobweb will stop him

If you want to kill will you need to find his spawn point build a small wall around the block he would spawn on, dig a hole to the bottom of the world then wait for him. When he spawns into the game he will spawn die re spawn die again and he will be what we call spawn trapped.
