To explain how he finds the stronghold with the eyes: He uses an eye in two different locations. Both of these eyes point towards the stronghold. He then uses a formula to TRIANGULATE the exact point in which those two eyes would meet (AKA The stronghold's exact location). The formula for this calculation is really long and annoying so instead of doing all that, he just plugs it into an online calculator that does the formula for him. He still has to find the INPUTS for the two different points.

@@andreandersen7558Feinburg has done both in every version of Minecraft. He has shorter edited videos of his AA runs on his other channel for every version of Minecraft. One of his All Advancements WR would be what they should react to. He explains it well. The react-caption of reacting to SmallAnt’s explanation of Feinburg’s run would go so hard too…or one of Feinburg’s 1.21 AA runs…or whatever the current version of Minecraft is when he gets around to it since they keep adding crazier advancements.

Yall should react to the 1.16.1 rsg speedruns .They are way more fast paced (The current wr is 7.01 minutes by drip) and probably the most competitive as it is the most played category Or better yet if you want to react to the highest level of minecraft speedrunning, check out ranked mcsr finals which is like a speedrunning tournament. The runners there utilise the latest mechanics like the lastest bastion routes and zero cycles to kill the dragon(as opposed to one cycle which was used in this video as well as drip's wr) which is WAYY more cooler and difficult.

If anyone is wondering why 1.16.1 is the most preferred version for speedrunning it is because of better piglin barter rates as well as other mechanics like preemptive navigation

when he entered the nether he found where the fortress was from the pie chart, and the bastion by looking for a spike of a large amount of entities when setting his FOV low, he saw the fortress first but went to the bastion first because you can get fire resistance, blocks, and pearls earlier, making the fortress easier and quicker. also, pausing normally doesnt count towards the time, but it depends on the version, what the pauses are for, how long you pause for, and what your final time is. if you liked this, you should for sure check out records on older versions, most of them are way more optimized than 1.20, especially 1.16, since it is easily the most popular version. you can also think about watching the all advancements world record, but that is much longer (~2:20 in 1.16 and much longer on other versions)

Blacksmith chests have armor, diamonds, obsidian, iron. They’re like perfect for speed runs or hardcore or an early start in general

16:24 is not a glitch. It's just simple triangulation. This is btw the same method used in astronomy to determine the position of a star or planet etc

Basically with the Eyes, he copied down the angles they traveled in and then plugged it into a calculator. It finds the coordinates by finding where the lines the Eyes followed would intersect, which happens to be exactly where the stronghold is. This can be done by hand, but is much faster to do automatically. The calculator also finds the coordinates in the Nether he has to build the portal at.

the loot in village chests depends on the village and the type of building the chest is in blacksmiths have that good loot the bad loot you've been getting are just in random peoples houses

pretty sure the reason he got the obisid and iron armor so easily through the chest is because of the difficulty level, the lower the difficulty the better the random chests loot are.

Wait, you're looking at k4yfour's old record? You should look at Drip's record from around the same time, which was 7:01:494. It's the current any% glitchless world record! No offense to k4yfour, of course, but there are significantly faster runs than his 17:39
