I also don’t think just sword would’ve even been the best test for PvP skill. Shield techniques kind of make or break a fight in most gamemodes and you’ll need a shield in most scenarios on smps or in events. Being good at sword doesn’t matter if you don’t know shield tech.

originally plan was to do just sword/axe/gap kit but decided UHC would be better as it included blocks & other utility which gives a better insight at skill overall. i do agree having a shield would have been cool to include! was only there to test & rank the contestants, not sweat like crazy on them. we had fun which is all that really matters 🙂
