Minecraft Plays Black MIDI- The Nuker 2 NBS Remake

I was having some trouble loading datapacks into minecraft 1.15 and 1.16, but 1.14.4 worked for me, so I was finally able to play this! Minecraft lagged at quite a few points because there were sometimes a lot of overlapping notes. When NBS releases the update where it will allow MIDI exporting, I will try to create a MIDI note counter for the final video, which will be released on my main channel. This is an update that is about halfway complete with the song.

how do get/use note block studio in minecraft? because i wonder what happens when i try to load very small midis like dead zone 13K and rst 12K

well, it has to be in the minecraft octave limit unless you use a special resource pack that extends it, and the PPQ is very small, like 8 or 16. this also means that it is very hard to do triplets in it, because its not a multiple of 3. I have tried importing midis before to NBS, but they usually end up messed up beyond repair, so it's usually easier to just make music in the program manually. I used a custom remake of Note Block Studio called OpenNBS ( opennbs.org/ ), which is like a better version of the original Note Block Studio. They are currently working on an update that will allow MIDI Exports, Wav Exports, and quite a few other things. The program itself has a medium learning curve, but you get used to it after a while lol. This allows you to export NBS files to minecraft worlds and paste a mass of noteblocks and redstone stuff into a world so that it plays normally (Probably what you have seen on yt) or as a datapack zip folder that you need to put in the datapacks folder of a world of your choice. then type /function [song name]:play and it will play in your world.

@@omnitone yeah thats tempo based btw This is at 300BPM or 20t/s which i think is actually 32ppq if you are doing it as 150bpm. so it really depends on which tempo you use.
