Minecraft music is so fantastic....I’ve never even heard this piece yet it seems familiar. Minecraft’s OST and how it perfectly executes the concept of “ambiance” reminds me a lot of Metroid music. Anyway, my gosh this performance is beautiful!!! It’s got a classical feel to it, yet something feels eerily “off” the whole time because nothing resolves the way it classically should. I love the emotion you but into this too, as always! Really a genuine pleasure to listen to!

I once did a cover of Lower Brinstar and discovered how well the main theme “Minecraft” goes with certain parts of that track if you adjust the chords a bit...I think because they both use pentatonic stuff along with arpeggio/ostinato patterns.

just my speculation, but the definition of rubedo toughly correlates to a red color signifying success in alchemy, maybe the nether wastes were an intentional result from something massive
