This run shows how possible a sub 7 is. Simply not having to leave the shipwreck and returning, immediately high rolling on 5 rods instead of killing the 2 other strays, and the missed zero alone cut so much off this run

@@aspenhill9662He would need to do an offset by 1 block lower setup there because he was caged, so he didn't have time to do the normal high setup. And while he hits 5 beds like they're nothing, 5 bed on an offset setup is a lot harder and in some cases the way the dragon rotates makes it nearly impossible

The seed matters waaaaay less nowadays than in the past, imo. People are hard-mass-resetting for insane starts, you can find the bastion & the stronghold fast with the new tactics, eye spy exits are the standard. Stuff that makes and breaks WRs nowadays is ofc the runner skill (or more specifically how well they play the seed) + stuff like blaze rates or whether you can zero-cycle
