Thiiiiis is what I needed... I figured out a self fueling (after initial investment) gas burning generator setup inside a compact machine and that thing produces way more energy than I need right now. These flux plugs beat the heck out of energy transfer nodes, wireless chargers, generator banks connected to batteries.... all that jazz. Made some ender seeds, set up an ender eye farm (using your auto harvester guide) to fund all these flux cores. Thanks again! Every new video I watch on your playlist is such an incredible help. I also just learned you can use a redstone torch to turn off segments of energy/item/fluid cables?!?! No more needing huge sections of space around all the machines, having to space them apart and route cables around each other like they're trying to avoid spreading an airborne plague between each other. Pipes touch? Just click off the connections. Man. These mods do not make it easy to learn how they work, what with there being a dozen different wikis out there and they're all using out of date or otherwise erroneous data. You just have to stumble onto things or spend hours poring through guides online, trying to find what's current and accurate.

FYI; found out from another source that you can drop stacks of redstone directly into lava to instantly get stacks of flux without using any resources. Hope it can help anyone :) Great tutorial as always, thanks for your help!

For anybody who is experiencing issues on the Flux Network in their world, where nothing is seemingly wrong with the system or connections, yet no power will transmit, please note: Sometimes, certain blocks will cause an error in the system. I've identified that any machines or blocks from the Matter Overdrive mod will cause my Flux Network to seize, and perhaps even the Decay Generator block (the one that converts blocks of isotopes into blocks of other decay products of that isotope, such as Uranium 238 blocks into Thorium blocks, in order to generate power) as being potential problems. The way to fix this issue is to remove the plugs/points from whatever block has caused the problem, and then "reset" your network. Always try to use the Troubleshoot function in the Flux Controller GUI first before doing this in case it fixes the problem, but if it doesn't, then here is how to reset your network without having to break any blocks: You can do this by going into the Flux Controller's GUI, disconnecting the controller from the network you've had, deleting that previous network, and then making a new network and going around to manually reattach all of your plugs/points to the new network. It's a bit of a pain, but it keeps your infrastructure in place and prevents you from having to go and replace all of your energy nodes! To troubleshoot when a Flux Network seize occurs, disconnect all of the machines that you've added to the network since the problem began, and then one-by one reattach them after resetting your network to see which specific machine causes the next seize to occur. For those, Onlydraven's setup with the Wireless Energy Nodes and GPS Markers from any generator will likely be a sufficient substitute. If you find an error-causing block or machine, please share it to spare others the annoyance of having to reset their networks over and over again! Thanks!

A bit late to sf4, but I just wanted to say thank you for your comment, I couldn't find the answer anywhere else. 1 more thing, when you say it perhaps doesnt work on the decay generator block (and the stuff in parenthesis), does the isotope separator count? I'm wondering if there is a way to fix my separator not receiving power without using energy transfer nodes (yes, I tried your solution and it worked on many other things). I have also yet to see if it works on my fuel system, which consists of a electrolyte separator, rotary condensentrator, fluid infuser, and an auto crafter. But yes, thank you very much for this comment, I'm sure it's helped more than me

I've made a maximum sized compact machine full of max upgraded geothermal generator set ups and I've tried heaps of different ways of trying to get the power generated into the flux network but the most the flux plugs will pull in is around 4,000 Rf/t I've tried pulling out of the machines with cryo ducts and also into energy cells first and it's similar all different ways. I've got it set to limitless, I can't figure out what's wrong. I'm definitely producing alot more power than that

For anyone that watched ssundee's sky factory 4 series, you prob know about his giant solar farm. I have re created that (mostly) and I am trying to figure out how he actually placed all of those. The copy paste gadget does not work. Also, is there a way to have a flux point automatically join a certain networek, or do you have to go to each and every one and manually apply the network and settings?

How do I try and export more energy than 1fe in the flux

For some reason the energy that is being put into my plug is capped at 400 RF per tick and so is the point so it was tough to power an ME system with lots of 64k storage cells. Anybody know how to increase the energy cap?

Sure! Flux Plug puts power into the system, very likely faster than one point can pull it out. A single one can power a ton of points if your power source is making it quickly. :)
