You can also make an unbreakable mattock in tinkers, use obsidian plates and make it out of obsidian, then level it up to gain more modifiers and only add obsidian plates until it's unbreakable. Use obsidian shovel and axe head but make tool rod out of paper :)

Then again, you could also use thermal expansion pulverizers and make cobblestone -> gravel -> sand -> dust a lot faster and put that through autosieves. It will yield yellorium dust a lot faster (though still rare). Keep up the good work Etho, Beef and Pause!

Ender quary with a Tesseract is the best thing to use when mining in the Deep Dark. You need a transfernode to pull the items out of the tesseract in the overworld, into a chest and then into the ME system. You gets loads of Yellorium and never have to worry about power :)

Sag Mill Cobble>Sand piped to 2 automatic sieves. Once power gets stabilized add double layer cap to Sag mill and 8 speed upgrades to each sieve. Takes about 180rf to run the upgraded setup.

In recent versions of Botania the agricarnation doesn't increase the rate of growth ticks. Instead it applies a bonemeal effect to crops around it. It doesn't work with magical crops. Lamps of growth from thaumcraft still work as do the growth pulsers and the watering cans. You should place the watering can in the upper left slot of the autonomous activator and change the settings so that it only right clicks that slot.

Two suggestions that will help your shortages: 1. You can typically run cobblestone through an Industrialcraft macerator and produce sand. 2. You can also reprocess the waste cyanite from your reactor in a Cyanite Reprocessor. It turns two Cyanites into one Blutonium ingot which will work in the reactor the same as Yelorium.

Hey Etho great channel. I have been playing sky factory along with you guys. my sifting system uses pulverizers. You feed cobble into the pulverizer and it will give you gravel and a chance for sand. Then output to another pulverizer which can turn the gravel into sand and the sand will get turned into dust. Or alternatively use a ender io sag mill inputting cobble and will get sand. Love the channel and keep it up! :)

Etho, you even looked at the recipe for Yellorium Ore. It's Yellorium Essence! Tell Beef to make a few Yellorium Crops, and use a Sag Mill with Dark Steel grinding balls to process the ores; you'll get like 3.5 dust on average!

You can make a magical wood mattock (and add 10 obsidian plates to make it unbreakable) and put that into the farming station... Also you can either farm the yellorium with minicio or find it in the deep dark, i´d suggest farming as a long run source :) keep up the good work Etho :)

If you do put a hopperhock, I'd recommend putting down an empty mana pool and linking the hopperhock to the empty mana pool. The hopperhock will passively eat mana to increase its range. You can remove the empty mana pool afterwards; the flower links via location, so just the empty air. However if you ever accidentatily break it and put it back it'll link to one of the sugarcane breaking spreader's pools, since it links to the closest pool if there's one in range, so I'd just the empty pool there.

"There's no quick and easy way to make sand" Earth and Fire essence in a 2x2= quick and easy sand. Igneous extruder hooked up to a series of pulverizers, eventually with speed augments=quick and easy sand. That's how I get the yellorium for my big generator and I'm sitting at half a stack of blocks in reserve. Plus there's the yellorium seeds

Etho I'd love to see you try and come up with a way to auto repair and melt down the armour pieces you get from the mob farm. At least get rid of them if you don't want the resources because the armour and weapons are clogging up your ME system. Ender IO has integration with Applied Energistics 2, this means you get an extra conduit. The ME conduit is used the same as ME glass cable - Fluix (or fluix cables) and can connect to both Fluix Cables and ME conduits, this will make the enderIO facade work on that one block on the farm! Yay!!

Hey Etho a tip for Beefs farming station, make an unbreakable mattock, bassically you need a paper tool rod with obsidian shovel and axe head. For the modifiers you use only obsidian large plates and too lvl up quickly find a single dirt and just hold space and right click and you can get lvls quickly and then if u get fortune there was a 'bug' in 2 that might still work

Etho, you should upgrade your ME system with an export bus going into the trash bin, put a fuzzy card in it, so that it'd would dump all tons of damaged armor from the grinder that clogs all your ME drives. That would free up lots of space on the drives and you could remove the free disks until you really need them - that should save a bunch of energy!

If you want sand, just build a pulveriser. cobble -> gravel -> sand. You can make a high tier one with speed boosts, plus secondary nullifier to simplify the wiring. Also, a pulveriser and redstone furnace setup will turn ore into ingots much more easily than the tinker's setup. Of course, you'll need to get your power system sorted out first...

Etho, you really need to make a mining laser. Make all 6 lenses yellow. You get ridiculous amounts of gold, but you will also get a reasonable amount of yellorium.

Well, the problem with that is the prechargers. The crystal isn't that bad if you cheat and use an auto spawner, but even 5krf/t is difficult without a reactor/other high-tier power gen. Once you get that started up, you can just build from there, though.

Well, I'm end-game on one of my worlds and I'm going off of reactor power plus my experimental "wither reactor" that draconic grinders withers and sends the stars to 64x generators. Not sure how efficient it is, but having a wither-powered base just sounds cool. I'm working towards a reactorcraft fusion reactor, and it is tough.

Etho, the best setup I've found for a Big reactor is a 7x7 with liquid enderium and diamond blocks for coolant. Love the videos bruv!
