Vikk, you need to build a roof every 2 blocks to avoid ghasts from spawning and only have zombie pigman spawn, the last roof has to be made out of either glass or half slabs placed on the bottom part of a block. Also on top of the rails there needs to be glass to stop zombie pigman from spawning and wrecking you! and last but not least, build the base floor also out of glass or half slabs. Anyways your gold farm is not the most efficient but it still works and was easy to make. Hope this tips helped! i fna

How will u kill all the pigment that survive the fall ...use pistons to kill them . Try making your platform with the chests out of glass make it 8x8 free room to not hit each other off . Block the way the pigment get out of the bottom platform and make a separated dropper so you can ride a minecart through past it so on the way back you collect the co automatically...

Serious question... Will it be possible to AFK there if Ghasts keep spawning? Or do they not spawn if you place a slab roof in like they mentioned?

Vikkstar yes ghasts can spawn higher than bedrock height so that is why you need to have that floating slabs so that athey don't spawn

Use caps lock to shift if you are going to shift for long period of time because caps lock only requires you to tap it once and will stay shifted until you uncaps

One idea is what +MoreMarriland did in one of his series, do a whole load of rings, trap one zombie pigman in a 1block deep hole with a block on top of it, (do this all really high) and make a glass barrier with a cactus so the pigman will get hurt and fall off. Then all you have to do is snipe the trapped zombie pigman with a snowball and AFK, make sure that the trapped pigman is name tagged, though it won't be any trouble to get name tags for you, since you have that villager trade XD

Because you dont want to die, and using a ladder is slow to get down, juts cover the the floor of the top of the nether, under the gold farm, with slime blocks, so you can BOUNCE!
