Im not gonna lie, rewatching this brought a tear to my eye. Not only is/was it a great parody, but it mainly brought back so many memories. The euphoria and nostalgia that this gave me just now is indescribable. The fact that this video is going to hit 10 years old in just a few days is incredible. 10 years ago, I was so different. In 7th grade, not a care in the world, staying up all night then going to school just to repeat it the next day. I'm getting old. We're getting old.

2012 was a pretty hard year for me I was 12 years old because I moved from my childhood home who’s native language was Spanish to the USA and wasn’t able to really process and come to terms with me leaving my extended family to go live hundreds of miles I was just through into a different school that spoke a different language and even though I understood them it was uncomfortable so many of your Minecraft parodies help deal with a lot I remember having them in my iPad playing on loop. Re listening to this song brought all of those memories. Sorry for the rambling I just want to say thank you for everything

So, this is the first KZbin video I ever watched lol, this was the origin point for me. God what nostalgia this is being back here!! I remember it quite fondly still. It was late 2012, I went to a birthday party at my friend's house where he enthusiastically showed me this new cool game he downloaded called Minecraft. He showed me this video and then launched the game, loaded up a new world, and blew up a village and covered it in lava. Immediately my mind was blown, and starry-eyed 9-year-old me could barely comprehend that such a cool and awesome thing existed!! I'd never played video games or really even used the internet up to this point, and I remember begging my dad for weeks on end if I could buy Minecraft on his computer (much to his dismay lol, so affectionately calling it "Mine-Crap"). This video, along with the many other Minecraft parodies, lets-plays, and channels, was not just my introduction to what is still one of my favorite games, but also to prime-era KZbin! It's quite wild being back here, right where it all started for me, still as good 12 years ago as it is today.
