Yay, team canada is playing rad! Here's a few starter tips: - right click on ladders with empty hand to move to top/bottom instantly - check your quest book for easy quests - that instant house mod is very useful, it has many houses and farms, take a look at what kind of houses it can make. - dont let beef go full minicio again, its quite boring watching him farming all the time - you can buy a LOT of food from last page on quest book with gold coins that can be earned completing quests - golden bag of holding is in this pack, might be a good idea to make that real quick edit: - make a new starting house item for beef, its pretty easy to craft. And of course make sure he doesnt erase your house with it - there's a button that activates a skill menu. on that menu you can spend xp to upgrade your character - regular furnaces that you've placed down smelt items SUPER fast - reason why you cant craft stone tools is because they are made from stone instead of cobblestone

Those flower circles are from Quark btw, you have an insane amount of them around your houses, they're meant to be rare! Dig down in the middle of em, there's often valuable ores (diamonds, emeralds etc) hiding a few blocks below the surface :) (...assuming they haven't changed it in this pack- I haven't played it myself)

pauses' issue is a common bug when using alt tab. solved by simply pressing alt again. the game somehow believes you're holding down alt, and since alt clicking drops items, it makes your inventory useless.

Oh wow, a series I'm actually qualified to comment on. First off, love the new series! This is a really good choice for a modpack, and is one I've completed, so I know a few good tips for it. Here's a few tips to start out with: The level up mod (L key) costs actual levels to increase skills, NOT exp. That means if you are level 100 and buy a skill that costs 20 levels, you'll go down to level 80, wasting a ton of EXP (Which is precious in this pack). To avoid this store your EXP in a Cyclic EXP Pylon or Openblocks tank, and withdraw just the amount needed to level up your skills. This will let you get a lot more bang for your buck, in terms of EXP! Beware the enchanted books in the shop! Not all of the books have what they say they have. I'm pretty sure that's unintended, so I usually just give myself the actual book and delete the bad one, but you should be aware of that. Getting to the Cavernic dimension quickly can be really beneficial Mining ores there will increase your Mining Rank, which will eventually unlock things like veinminer and area miner. The veinminer isn't your ordinary one which can vein mine anything, but it will allow you to mine out an entire ore vein. However, the mining is slower depending on how many blocks you mine. On the topic of Cavernic, while the dimension does feature some rather nasty new mobs, it also contains a hugely vaulable new ore: Randomite. This ore can give you a huge variety of different items, many of them quite useful. Some of the best I've found were refined obsidian and the Betweenlands gems, which let you augment weapons and armor. One of the most overpowered features of this modpack is the disenchanter, which lets you switch any enchantment off of an item and onto a book, which can then be put on weapons and armor. This makes seemingly useless items (A flint and steel with unbreaking 10 or a pumpkin head with thorns V) extremely valuable, as the enchants can be put on something better. Finally, the absolute most important mod as you approach the late-to-end game is MegaLoot, that lootbox mod. On the plus side it's extremely powerful, with some of the crates giving out baubles that give things like strength 2 and resistance 2 at no cost, and swords that hit for 30s. On the minus side it's extremely poorly documented, with the only a single video on the mod page to explain what a lot of the stuff in it does. It's also basically impossible to automate as far as I've seen, so expect a lot of manual work to get to the end stages of the mod. Here's a brief overview of some of the more poorly explained features. -The tool manipulator can break down existing Megaloot items (That you get from lootboxes) into shards. The shards are common, rare, or mythic depending on the tier of the item. These shards are very useful and are the basis of all the more advanced stuff in Megaloot. That means you should NEVER throw out Megaloot items! Break them down instead! -Shards can be used in the tool manipulator to repair Megaloot tools of the same or lower tier then it (So a common shard can repair common tools, but not rare or mythic ones). -Shards can also be used to craft new lootboxes by putting 9 of them in a box shape in a crafting table. -One of the most important uses of shards late-game is with the evolution chamber. The evolution chamber allows you to upgrade loot boxes by placing a loot box in one slot and a soft or hard emerald in the other. These emeralds are crafted in a crafting table with an emerald in the middle and either a common or rare shard directly above and below it. The emeralds don't stack and are created with a certain chance to 'evolve' the loot into the next tier, otherwise the loot box is broken down into shards. You can use this, and some time, to get a lot more Mythic loot boxes, which are the ones that really matter in the lategame. That should be all for tips now, but if anyone wants to know some more stuff about this modpack I'd be happy to share. I've put a lot of hours into it and know a ton of the little tricks that are out there.

circles of larger vegetation than the surrounding area show that something has died there and the soil is now rich with nitrogen, allowing for accelerated plant growth. when I played this modpack about a month ago I dug down in the center only to be disappointed finding nothing but normal underground.
