I think it’s cause there was a non multiple of 4 in it so it added four to 62, but still that’s a bug with thermal I think

I don't know if you read the youtube comments but Amethyst can be "grown" into Amethyst Cluster in the Crystiser with some water. There is a block placer and a block breaker from Opolis Utilities you can use to place the clusters down and break them into 4 more Amethyst. I used a hopper minecart pushed into a stone block so I can place them on that and then collect them.

There is a machine in Thermal that can bottle the lava bottles for you, that one doesn't spew things out. Also for the simple storage being buggy, if you change the priority by one then change it back it usually fixes it until you add a new drawer to your drawers.

I'm also playing this pack and have the same problem with Simple Storage Networks. I too have a drawer system connected with priority -10 and a number of chests with priority 10. In my experience, this issue happens when the world is loaded. One connector (seemingly at random) will "forget" it's priority (it doesn't actually forget it, you can still see the value in the UI) and starts accepting things that should have gone in the drawer system. Simply changing the priority of the connector (for instance increasing it by 1 and then decreasing it back to what it was) makes the value "take", and it works for the rest of the session. I'm guessing it's a bug in Simple Storage Networks.

I think it would be pretty cool if you copied the ore set ups you have and put it on the left side of the base (assuming your looking at the storage system) and have them split where one side is for ores using induction smelter and other side uses the pulverizer then find a cool design when adding more

I said this on a previous vid haha he has it like this because it saves him a lot of frames per miner cause 2-3 miners can use the same frames as long as the frames are high tier enough. We will see what he does when he does it tho haha I guess.

On corners 3 miners use the same frame for the corner, and it also saves him on capstones as long as he uses the same ones per however many miners he has connected too.

interesting to see how other people do things. Cause I went for volume. I have dedicated miners per technium operation enough to create the materials per technium faster then the automatic table can craft. Does that mean my base is 3-4x the size of Nick's? Sure, but I also have 2048 of every technium at any one time, and I don't have to worry about my main crafting resources being eaten away. Pros and cons for everything.

why not use a hopper for the auto crafters instead of the drawers? It has 5 slots and if you're gonna just wait for them to back up the forcing the items in shouldn't be a problem.

@@dragong33k you wouldn't need to lock the hoppers though? if the recepie has =< 5 it would be waaay cheaper and less clunky, just put a stock upgrade on the extractor and It'll just have the stack of items on the table plus one craft's worth of items in the hopper

Better yet, get one drawer controller slave for each autocrafter, line up each autocrafter right next to each other with the controller slaves above, and use one storage drawer bank for every single one. There's so much duplication and wasted space in this one - it doesn't need to get cramped in with direct insertion because it's using link cables *anyway*

The controller is way better scalability, when he switches to AE it'll be better, as well as having great aesthetic value of signifying what is used in technium, and keeping a buffer of ingredients

once you have access to netherrack you can use that to generate lava with the magma crucible and use a fluid encapsulator to make lava bottle. on the next tier of technium ingot automation, i highly recommend you use the pyrolyzer to make coal coke and you would need like 2-3 of them running for a decent rate of steel gear production edit: using a single maxed out induction smelter to make steel would still be a bottle neck on your system, the latter stage of the mod pack requires quite a large amount of technium(you need 8 technium to advance to the hellish tier) so this set up will not be able to handle it and would require you to wait a ton

It kills me watching you use a bunch of lapidary dynamos for individual machines when you could simply centralized them and use the immersive engineering wires connected to flux ducts to transfer power all around your base also immersive engineering has the thermoelectric generator, you put a hot item thing (like lava) on one side and a cold thing (like water or ice) on the other to generate power and using lava and blue ice generates a good amount of power per generator
