It depends, In the coding it doesnt have a code set for animal breeding except for vanilla mobs(Atleast I think). So its up to the coder/mod maker what makes them breed(Most mobs in Mo Creatures just need to be alone for awhile to breed)

Sly, if you really want ostriches, just keep only black or white ones. The brown ones are females and they lay eggs every few seconds. They just fill up your entire world with tamed ostriches if you keep them.

How can Sly not know about the Ostriches breeding? I tried to have an ostrich farm for the albino one and I had a message "What do you want to name your Ostrich?" every five seconds. Had to kill the females and do selective hatchings after to just get rid of the messages!

They spawned in the walls, because there were so many there, it spawned them inside the walls. :/ That's takes a lot to make them do that, btw.
