@@KingVick801 Yeah, this farm relies on a duplication glitch, which most servers disallow. Either because with enough of them it could lag the servers down, or because of the unfair advantages gained out of duping. If you're doing multiplayer on a public server, there's nothing wrong with simply asking the admins/mods what duping glitches are allowed and disallowed, most mods will give you a link to the server discord or the server FAQ that explains it all, and if no duping is allowed at all, you can always use dripstone with lava facing into cauldrons to create infinite lava, which is an intended function of the game. 1 dripstone and 1 lava source block will give you a bucket of lava basically as soon as the furnace is out of fuel. You can semi-automate it too using minecarts with chests and hoppers.

Those five hours that you wasted will benefit you for the amount of years you play Minecraft for,, Going into a cave every time you run out of coal is very exhausting and annoying,, you spend a lot of time to build this machine , even if it's very irritating,, once it's done,, you will never need to go into the cave for coal ever , that's how your time gets saved

Why needed complicated I just use half block wood as fuel and since saplings wasn't hard to obtain Wood farm naturally would better as started besides the farm on this short isn't for people whose just started 😊

​@@lcelerio993 You can find tools with mending in the End (so end game), but also by gishing if I'm not mistaken? I seem to remember I've found a few tools with mending already on them somewhere, but I can't really remember. The other items I would not consider late game. Just mine some iron and so on. (Though the observer needs quarts, so you need a nether portal but that's hardly late game these days)

Minecraft keeps changing the tick speed of things and just like the old red stone contraptions and farms, this is also gonna break Also just sue bamboo as your fuel source. It grows fast and in large amounts. And you can make a super simple auto bamboo farm.

it is...basic redstone, doesnt work on paper servers tho.. better with slime/honey blocks so you can get rid of extra lag(that unsightly second piston

It's not very simple but that's because it's small and compact. You have to place like 15 blocks total including redstone dust.

@@skeptic_lemon im a technical minecrafter that is very simple compared to what we make. 15 blocks is nothing. have you ever made a 360 degree ender pearl cannon? also this design is very stupid you can achieve better with honey blocks or slime blocks make it more compact than this 15 stupid blocks. and make it even automatic so it wont flood the server if the hopper is full

Use this instead:Find drip stone. And do this in layers. Lava Any block (can’t burn) Drip stone Cauldron And then you can expand this to like 16 cauldrons and get free fuel

Cons: - costs 26 iron, a bit of quartz and who has coral before infinite coal? - requires very tall room - only one furnace - really loud - uses glitches to dupe carpets (which is not really and issue) I suggest using lava farm instead. 1 cauldron and dripstone are enough to supply for one time smelt which is basically the point of this farm. It is infinitely extendable and with 26 iron you could get 3 cauldrons overpowering the farm with triple the smelting speed while saving 5 iron for one bucket and 2 iron to spare. Lava farms are compact and very easy to build and they aren't using any unintended features. The only sound which they could make is lava popping but that will be unnoticed by most of players.

This design also isn’t that good tbh you can do the same thing with some slime/honey a sticky piston and an observer which produces way more is way easier to build and you can have multiple made to fuel multiple furnaces way easier
