Just so you know, the Wandering Trader you kidnapped turned invisible by drinking a Potion of Invisibility as soon as nighttime falls. If you kill him while he's drinking it, you can take the potion for yourself. Also, I'm pretty sure he's going to despawn eventually, so you can't keep him forever.

An idea to make your your dock look better: Add a fence all around the sides of the dock. then at the entrance add a door / 2 and put wood planks / oak wood around the door(s). Then put wood plank slabs on the top of the door to make a little roof. It might look good to leave one row of blocks without a roof. You could also put a chest there to put your findings, and even make the doors red stone activated. Whether you follow my advice or not, I love ur vids and keep up the good word! :)
