The witches AI during a raid is set to splash potions onto raiders during and after a raid for a set period of time after which they either despon or go back to the regular witches AI. At the beginning of a raid wave, the witches always splash the raiders with strength and shortly after they begin to splash the raiders with regeneration. If they come into contact with a player, they splash potions like they normally do outside of a raid.

They should do an update to where the village gets illagerfied and instead of killing the kids they train them to become pillagers/illusioners/vindicators/evokers, and add 2 new illagers known as the "bandit" and "bounty hunter", The bandit steals villagers items from chests, wear red bandanas, and use bows, and the bounty hunter that uses a grapple hook to get to distances and when killed, you can use a grapple hook, and bounty hunters use bows and arrows

It would be sick if they were programmed to occupy the village until you retake it. There should be a way to create a rebellion by enlisting villagers of other villages. Then, all you’d need to do is arm them, train them, and then whenever you need to attack a Pillager village, you just sound some sort of horn like the pillagers do. Then all of your rebels will teleport to your location and help you retake the village.
