Why Mojang takes forever to make an update is because they have to update Minecraft for all different consoles and versions like bedrock edition, Java edition, Pocket edition, and etc. That's why it takes so long for Mojang to make an update. It does annoy me a little bit though because sometimes we'll wait for stupidly bad and boring mobs like the Sniffer.

That would make sense, but Mojang made the nether update fine, and that was a huge update, on both java and bedrock, so if the multiple versions were a problem, how could they of made the nether update so good, if they had to update the same versions as they do now?

@@timothybasily6134That is true, the nether update and caves and cliffs were REALLY big and good updates. But still, I'd rather Mojang take a lot of time to make an update then make a really bad update.
