Hello Zeemo I am one of your fans and I have an additional advice for the next upcoming map, would you build the Shanghai Tower in the Shanghai city? This tower had completed since 2016, and it has become the tallest building of China in present. It is great to see Shanghai Tower in the next map if it is possible, as the last piece of Shanghai Lujiazui skyline being completed, especially the special height ratios of these skyscrapers will be present. Wow I haven't seen you for a long time. I thought your map was no longer updated. XD When I saw the cover, I knew that something great was born. As far as I know now, there were only two completely restored the Forbidden City before , the very hot Project 1845 on PMC, and the video link I gave you long time ago, the 5:1 Forbidden City by the team national architect & cthuwork, very fine and rigorous, and the amount of engineering was absolutely huge, It should be the most systematic restore. And the team looked up hundreds of informations. but they used more than 50 excellent MC Chinese architectural builders in China and spent a few years, today not yet publish the formal video. Part of the Forbidden City has been restored many times, which is often seen in China's MC forums. There is also a project of zhenrujing, a member of our team, but he only built the axis of Beijing city (4:1). About me, I simply restored the Hall of Supreme Harmony, but I did not do it well. In a word, it's very difficult…… So I don't know how long you've built all the buildings. But the amount of Engineering in your Forbidden City is also huge, and amazing, whether in small or large proportion, especially in your huge city map, to cooperate with other buildings. I have been to Beijing, and I love Chinese traditional architecture. The corner tower, Meridian Gate, Gold Water Bridge, the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Imperial Garden ...... and so on. I feel very familiar with it through the video, and in short just GREAT project. I think you spent a lot of time looking up pictures and other informations. There is still space for improvement in details, but it's hard to do it, unless it's who have a structural study and good understanding of East Asian architecture in some ways. I have said this a lot of times :D. Keep it up my old friend. Today is June 5th. The day after tomorrow is the national college examination(gaokao), more than nine million people participated, for senior three students. Next year it will turn to me. This is a turning point test of life for Chinese students, and I still need to study hard for a year. I hope I can go back to minecraft at this time next year to continue the project I want to start, the modern city, different styles of architecture in the world, fantastic buildings...... whether or not minecraft is a hot game at that time, after all, it seems that the heat of minecraft is fading. But I still love this game, and architectures. ^_^

Hi VotMaf, When I started The Forbidden City I didn't know how hard it is to recreate it. It's not an identical copy ...I simply try to create an amazing part of the world! There are so much details ...impossible to recreate all, only the central part is "partly recreate"...don't forget that I'm alone to build :D But the result is quite impressive ...Thanks to encourage me ...I appreciate it my friend. I worked months to finish The Forbidden City ;)

XD Alone to build in MC is very familiar with me...And 1000*800m scale is huge...It actual need months. So you made great job. The details I mean, is in large scale buildings. If you search Chinese : "故宫 斗拱", "故宫 椽子" ,"故宫 彩画", "故宫 藻井" on Google, you will see many complex details in the buildings of forbidden city. Quite a lot of Chinese players like to build these details in a large proportion, 5:1 8:1... Some people even try to make the shape of tile. This requires the largest proportion, and the height of the building may reach 256m. But what you restore is the proportion of 1:1, which is very difficult to restore the details of building, and I say the details are just to explain the structural complexity of the Chinese architecture, of course, European, Islamic and other styles of architecture, and many embossment and painting are difficult to build in the case of 1:1. You have done a good job, including the blocks that I saw on the floor are randomly allocated, and the trees are very full... and so on. All these things are enough to see the details. There are no such problems in your works. Great. And no problem lol, I understand this feeling in some ways, it is not easy to stick to it. A few months of construction is only five minutes of video, many viewers see the spectacle of the works, but they may can't see/feel the effort behind it. But the sense of accomplishment after making these works, for example, your Hungarian Parliament, the Cathedral of Sagrada Família, and a series of skyscrapers... The innumerable works of work have brought about a sense of accomplishment. and some knowledge about architecture are pleasing to us, so I always encourage you to stick to it, including myself, that I won't give up my favorite game, and other hobbies.

For each buildings of Future CITY I take inspiration from pictures of futuristic cities, games or movies. For World of Worlds I use Google Street and many pictures of each building before to build :D
