Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (TU1) - Tutorial World Gameplay

In this video, I play the very first version (TU1) of Minecraft's Xbox 360 Edition. There are many glitches and differences between this version and the latest version of the Xbox 360 edition.
This version is so broken and incompatible that it:
- Can't load entity textures correctly
- Crashes if the profile used has any form of player data saved upon loading a world
- Can't load capes
- Completely freezes my Xbox when it crashes

my experience was almost exactly the same, but before i tried the mobile version in 2012, as soon as i saw the game on my xbox 360 and i recognized it as it was getting quite popular and since i played that demo i played minecraft non-stop even though i lost my progress every lol moment

Its remind me when I'm playing minecraft xbox 360 in trial version. I am scared going at night because of zombie. I also plan to build empire underground but of course there is time limit becoz it was a trial version. Fortunately, my dad bought me minecraft. That day I am very excited to go home and play it. And then, I played it everyday, building home, redstone creation and exploring my world for almost 6 years until adult world hit me and stop playing minecraft.

I used to play this with my sister and she would beg me to help her with all the stuff she would always get in first. This game used to be so simple, never a rush to beat the ender dragon making houses with diamond blocks and emerald blocks put a red bed that was made with black wool wite wool and gray wool it was always red. There was no real point to play but everyone did.

When i watch these kind of videoe i almost want to tear up because the Xbox 360 was a big part in my life when my sister and i would just come home from a long day of school we would play Minecraft until bedtime. Man I remember sitting on my couch watching popularmmos, stampylonghead, dantdm, ssundee and crainer, and about a thousand Minecraft song animations and battles. I remember sitting in the tutorial level for hours trying to figure out what to do. I actually learned how to read words because if I couldn’t I wouldn’t figure out how to play. This game formed my childhood and sits in my heart for ever.

It's honestly crazy to see this video blow up, but I can see why it did. A lot of people grew up playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 or on their parents' phone or tablet back then (including myself) and have fond memories of the game. I still vividly remember being shown the game by a friend I had back in elementary school and being strangely fascinated by the game. It must have been somewhere between early 2011 and 2012 when I was first introduced to the game. Crazy how time flies. There's honestly something special about this edition of the game. Something magical. I think it's what this edition primarily focuses on that makes it so special. With the Bedrock and Java editions, you often don't play vanilla Minecraft when you're playing multiplayer. You're playing Minecraft plus a bunch of crazy cosmetics or changes to the base gameplay or in some cases entirely new gamemodes that just so happen to use Minecraft's mechanics. The pre-Bedrock console editions just didn't have that. You are basically forced to play the vanilla experience as Mojang intended it to be with nothing else (aside from the occasional texture pack). Since servers weren't a thing, you often either played the game alone or with your friends, and I think that's where a lot of people's nostalgic memories come from - playing in solitude spending hours building something crazy or sending time with your friends building closer bonds. I recently saw a video where someone went through the game and tried to get every achievement in the game, which motivated me to pick the game up again this year. I ended up spending several hours building a house, exploring the land, setting up a massive self-sustaining farm, and even building a statue of my Java Edition skin. All in survival. When I went to go visit family in Utah for the first time in a few years, I took my Xbox 360 with me to entertain myself while I was staying there because there was no internet. I played the game on an old CRT TV and recorded it with an equally old VCR. I might even make a video about that experience, because it was such a cozy one. It honestly put a smile on my face to see you guys from all walks of life talking about all the great memories you had growing up with this game. It just goes to show how much a game like this can unite people. Thank you guys for watching and for all the kind words in the comments.

I remember playing this first tutorial world back then in 2012 (I was 11 y/o) when the game and the demo came out. I was talking to a friend who bought it through xbox live and I could tell him every single huge thing I'd do if I could reach it someday. I can't even count the amount of hours I spent right there, in the first stage of the tutorial world with a time limit trying to cut my imagination off. Once I got it (I had to buy two xbox point cards of 600 each one 'cause it was about 1200 pts. to buy it) I couldn't believe it. I finally had it. This game made almost my whole childhood. Now, I'm 23 and there's no single day I wouldn't give everything I have to go back to those golden days

Daí começou uma jornada e imaginações infinitas, tudo dentro dessa caixinha que é o Tutorial 😅 Como pensava que demo era o jogo todo e não entendia nada de vídeo game, eu joguei esse tutorial por uns meses Ficava horas e horas no tutorial, quando baixei a demo, não conhecia o jogo, sabia 0% dele, como não lia o jogo não sabia como fazer as coisas, não sabia como saía do tutorial, um novo jogador, quando estava na casa da minha vovó com o meu Xbox 360, tinha descoberto a live e jogava o tempo todo esse jogo perfeito eu amo muito ele e só de lembrar dói. Me lembro o primeiro mob hostil que vi, olhei para o túnel, não sabia como passar o tutorial, na primeira noite do tutorial olhei para aquele túnel e lá vi o esqueleto passar, como Minecraft estava sendo apresentado na época, com minha imaginação fértil de criança, olhei e vi aquele esqueleto, pensando no que poderia ser aquela criatura, eu uma criança com seus 7,8 anos inocente, foi tão bom lembrar, descobrir coisas novas e explorar, é marcante, lembro como se fosse um pedaço de mim, a imaginação fértil pensa em tudo quando vê esses mobs, imaginávamos se achassemos mobs diferentes como os de mods, foi aí que eu conheci o jogo, assistia vídeos de KZbinrs da época, lia revistas sobre o Minecraft, já li até sobre o Herobrine a Lenda, só de lembrar essa época de imaginação e diversão fico emocionado, Minecraft você fez parte da minha vida❤️ eu era uma criança muito feliz. 🙂

I remember when this first came out, I had a code and I had redeemed it on my xbox. Hopped on and played this tutorial, and even saved the world to play with my friends. We did a duplication glitch where you could get 255 blocks stacked but it would break if you moved it to any other slot. Otherwise, it was a full stack of 255.

I remember when I was 6 years old on Christmas my mom gave me the Xbox 360 and it came with one disc on which was my favorite game to watch Minecraft after that everything was just perfect I had the best year of my life until I turned 10 and I went to my uncle's house in Texas he gave me the Xbox One and my mom forced me to throw away the discs for the Xbox 360 and then everything was gone and now as I grow up I realize that Minecraft isn't just a game it's our childhood

I know I played this version of minecraft or it may have been TU3.Anyway, it was my first video game at 6 years old. I can remember pieces, I remember my dad trying to play and making a hut to defend himself from the spiders and skeletons. I remember going around my friends house to play. I remember me and my dad playing the tutorial version on my xbox 360 and then my dad finally bought the game for me in June, I played the game so much from 2012 to 2014 when I finally got my Xbox One, sadly I never got the Xbox One version, to this day I still have the xbox 360 Minecraft achievements unlocked now on the Xbox One and it says my first ever achievement that I unlocked was "Cow Tipper" which I unlocked on 16th June 2012, nearly 10 years ago
