This just puts into perspective how ridiculous my robot vacuum collection is. As far as iRobot goes I have 2 of the original Roombas, a 4106, 4210, 4225, 530, 560, 595, 650, 860, 870, 880 and a 985; Scooba models 5900 & 5800; and 2 Braava jet 240s. However it doesn’t stop there, I also have a Samsung Powerbot R7040, a Bissell smart clean; and Neato models XV-11, D80 and 2 D3s. I guess you could say I’m a bit of a robot hoarder as I’m currently gearing up to buy a Miele Scout RX2 😂

Vacuum Central Yeah I’ve seen your videos lmao, you have an amazing collection!! Yeah I think about if I’m a hoarder too sometimes, not not really in terms of these but of other stuff I collect. I try to balance it out, whenever I buy something new, I sell an old toy or thing I’m willing to part with to balance it out.

Great video! You are pretty lucky you have got Scheduler virtuall walls and remote. By the way rarely my 786p sometimes make circles in dirt detect mode like older Roombas. But that is just about 2x in 30 cleaning cycles. But i really saw my 786p doing it. I do not know how about the 870. That virtuall wall from 530 is not lighthouse, it is ,,fat,, virtuall wall . You just manually press it, and after 120 minutes it will shut down. I have 3 of theese and it is my favourite type of virtuall wall. Few Roombas with green battery cover do not had model number on it. Mine 550 does not have it too. And you are pretty lucky, because your 530 have white AeroVac bin, which is pretty rare too. Just one or two models of 500 series Roombas had it in box. By the way your 530 was manufactured in 11th August in 2007. Your 870 was manufactured in 5th January in 2016. I can not see the discovery serial number, if you will write it to me, i will read from it manufacturing date. And i even think, your Roomba Discovery IS Scheduler. Because it has Scheduler remote and virtuall walls and model number is like scheduler. And the bottom of the robot looks like my friend Scheduler. Front caster wheel (Discovery normally do not had it), yellow brush module, etc. So i think your Discovery is Scheduler in Discovery cover and bin :) But still Scheduler is basically the same like Discovery, it just have diferent color, name, some few different small things, and scheduling acessories, that is everything. I just subbed. You know pretty a lot about Roombas, and i hope you will have more of them and you will have that yours dream one 405. By the way i saw them on ebay. RoboVacCollector The only number I could find on the discovery is PRR042990701240100038. Also that makes sense, as this discovery is a remanufactured roomba, so it was basically thrown together with leftover parts by iRobot. So yeah I could see it being a scheduler 4225, but just with the discovery 4210 cover. And I didn’t know that about the 530 bin, that’s quite interesting. Thanks for all the info!! I really appreciate it!! And thanks for the links as well, most likely I’m gonna end up buying a really cheap one for parts and fix it up to like new condition for my collection. I found another one on eBay for less that $30 shipped, but it’s untested and has a bad battery rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F164115793806. This is the one I’ll try and go for, maybe the price will go down even more, it’s in my watch list for now along with a bunch of other cheap ones I found.

@@IDogFan41 ok, your Scheduler/Discovery was made in 2007, 24th January. And i think that Roomba could have just bad battery. Because he says just turns red and beeps. Or it just have discharged battery and charging does not work, or the charger is broken. But i think it will just be the battery.

And that thing , when it gets confused, so it will just make the Dock buton blink and nothing,happened to my 550 in simillar location. I was doing the same thing like you. I just fixed it somehow :D

Let me top you on you’re collection I’m 12 and I have 15 of them all from a different generation you have three and you sound 15. 3 is a good start but if you are collecting them here’s some advice 1. Look in any liquidation store you can find 2. Search the web aka Craig’s list Facebook market place eBay and kijiji 3. Restore repair buy and keep I grew up with them to I grew up with a roomba 540 it still sits in my room to this day it needs repairs though

My Roomba makes the special sound every time I push the home button. For the 900 series, you can get the special sound if you press the home button before the Roomba starts the job.
