When Running the Minelab Manticore in All Terrain General High Conductor it uses more battery power in this mode. But is a great mode for coin and relic hunters. So for those all day / night hunts we need an option to keep going. So I tried this Anker 321 Power Bank. Consider Like and Subscribing if you would like to see future videos as they come out.

Subscribed, good review of Anker product. I have a Manticore and was looking for a mounting solution. The zip ties look like they will do the job. I've been a fan of Anker products since they came to market, great customer service.

I did a cylinder type battery on mine. Adds weight but I can detect all day now versus 6 hours.

What brand did you get? Do you get any EMI interference?

@@Photostrated Anker power core 5000. I do get some EMI. I didn’t know why it was doing it at first. I keep it off till I get low on battery. For some reason in my swing when I come back to the left it will false.

Very nice review! A cheap investment for extra detecting time or a “just in case”

To reduce forearm fatigue, I need to have a neutral balance at the handle. I'll balance my Manticore with a tube extending out from the end of the shaft and use the battery as a counter weight. I'm going to find a tube (O.D. ~20 mm, 0.790") and stuff it into the flush out hole. I'm not sure how long it should extend be, so I'll experiment with the length. I'm not sure how I'll secure it. I'll use my "Power Delivery" battery bank as the counter weight. It's the size of a cell phone, 12,000 mah. I've seen someone use a bicycle handle bar cell phone holder clamped to the detector shaft, easy to secure, remove and it looks good! Your 14 oz battery bank is about the right weight to balance the detector. Do you know where we can purchase a spare charging cable for the Manticore? I think it's the same design as the Equinox. I'm also going to use some self fusing silicone tape to to cushion the handle grip. I'll see if I can also wrap the perimeter of the display module to protect it from bumps and scratches. If it adheres well, I'm going to try to tape a Mylar sheet to cover the speaker. Tks & HH

I know its the same charging cable as on the Equinox 900. I sold my 800 before I got it. But it looks to be the same design as the 800/900 and manticore. Buying any extra parts right now I don't know of anyone that has any. If you find someone can you post it here for me and others as well? Thanks for looking.

@@Photostrated Oh gees, no spare charging cables for the Equinoxes. That's not good. I don't have an immediate need, but no doubt in the future I'll be needing one. I'm going to share you latest video of the Manticore unmasking coins with namils on Paystreak Superfreak channel. A guy is mumbling about paying $1600 for the high end detectors and can't figure out why. :) Tks & HH

@@pigeonbloodruby5330 Sounds good, Some people just don't wanna put the time in to learn a new machine. None of them are perfect and no one detector is the best. I have friends that have both the Manticore and D2 and they tell me that sometime the Manticore will find things that the D2 can't and vice versa. He's been using both platforms for a very long time so it's not like he doesn't know how to set them up.

Hey Pigeon I use vet wrap on my handles. I like to make the grip a little fatter and the wrap is cheap enough to re-do every so often.

Found your channel when investigating powerbanks & Manticore. Your selection of the '321' looks to be -exactly- what I'd be steering toward. The two outlets being able to 'float' both the Manti's battery via std. USB, and the 'C' to a bluetooth transmitter (simultaneously) allow ing me to get past a 5-6 hour limit (and help to keep detector & devices batteries off the 'used up' lifespan) makes me looking for a way to mount this stuff adequately, a high priority. -Two- questions come to mind. The '321' has a 'trickle' feature. Is this option's output adequate to charge the Manti. during it's normal 5-6 hour usage? Secondly, If I used the supplied links for the product page to Amazon, will that equal 'click value' for you ?

Yes the 321 will give you enough power to detect all day and in to the night. Yes I have an affiliate account with them to date hasn't made me a dollar. But I would get a small percentage of the sale. Doesn't effect how much you will pay just gives me a small kick back. To help pay for batteries for the cameras etc. So people outright ask for money but thats not me. I can't say anymore an no one has used them. Hope this helps

@@Photostrated I bought the Anker321 via your recommendation (and even used your link !), and when piggybacked with the YMOO BT06-T1upg. bluetooth transmitter plugged into the 'C' outlet (simultaneous charging alongside the Manti) I'm able to use my premium Google Buds Pro ear buds (instead of the ML105) to monitor the audio output from the Minelab. Mounted the whole business using industrial-duty velcro to the left side hollow of the arm cuff. To remove something affixed using that (all-plastic nubs) velcro you need to slide a stiff wallet-card through the nubbins and it will come right loose, otherwise, the stuff is super-stuck (no-twist, no-wiggle, -NEVER- fall off). To mount one item to the other, I use self-fusing silicone tape (awesome stuff too - expensive though).
