Did I set GB on Golden Mask 1+ ? VANQUISH 540 has no GB setting ! This is not a stone , this is a Roman ceramics piece. I can't set GB on it because when I hunt I don't know where in under dround there are such pieces, they can't be seen.

@@nufrii the golden mask 1 is factory set on hot rock, as value 88 on a XP deus for exemple isn't it? Vanquish is EQ multi-frequency so you're right we can't do GB. This device is dedicated to use on beach. But if you set GB on the roman ceramic with the nokta do you think it will be possible to detect the roman hammered coin under ceramic?

Could this be because the golden mask is running at a much lower frequency? I know the Vanquish has multi IQ, but that still requires the machine to "make a choice" based on various inputs and obviously it's still being fooled. I know I personally have amazing results when hunting in single low frequency at some locations with my Kruzer. It really makes some targets pop.

you should test the simplex with firmware 2.76 these tests no longer make sense.

Very soon will make test . Firmware 2.76 adds depth but also a lot of instability. According to customers the latter sensitivity level is very noisy in real hunting and is unusable

@@nufrii Sort of. They do give the option to use the older setting in park 2 and park one is added with the updates. So you can switch back and forth if you want to. There are a lot of other good feaures added as well, it would be crazy not to update. I wish my Kruzer had an update like this. :(

QUesto é un particolare curioso. Il Vanquish é presentato con il cavo a sinistra, mentre l`equinox a destra...(piastra di 15 ovviamente). Sono piastre simili, quindi probabilmente si é sbagliato e l`ha montata cosí, essendo abituato all`equinox. Questa scelta della Minelab potrebbe essere "tattica", forse per non "ghigliottinare" il cavo quando appoggi il metal. Sul Safari - ctx- explorer-e-trac é meglio montarla al contrario proprio a causa di questo problema.
