I easily ate 100 pep & mush's from 1981 to 1983 (at least once a week) when I was at C-MU. Mineos was THE BEST value - I think a large P&M was $6 (or was it $5.) It was THE place to go if you were a college student. But best in Pittsburgh? I don't get it. A proper NY pizza looks like it came out of a can but has a blend of flavors that will make your eyes roll back in your head and then there is Vincent's where a large pepperoni, mushroom, onion, green pep, sausage, black olives, Canadian bacon (7 toppings) costs $45 and weighs 12 pounds.
