The Rajasthan government has announced plans to share mineral deposit data with central, state, and private institutions. The information will be made available in the public domain by January 31 through a dedicated portal. This initiative includes a three-step roadmap for sharing mining data, emphasizing transparency and collaboration. The Rajasthan Museum of Minerals highlights the state’s rich mineral diversity, with mining activities involving 57 of the 82 identified minerals. Exploration experts across the country have shared their experiences and innovations in this regard. T. Ravikant, Principal Secretary of the Mining Department, provided these details.
