A rich value in these documentaries. Excellent Productions and Narration. I desire a trek up those Mountains with an Authentic Guide who knows the History, Geology, and the Fundamentals of Quantum Physics/Universal Laws. I do believe I would prefer to Motorcycle up to hike, rather than truck it up. My son has been to Peru, maybe he will return with me.

I ended up watching this video (and doing a bunch of reading besides) because an economic geology textbook I was reading had a map where the name of the place was misspelled - "Pasta Bueno". 😁 It turns out the "Pasto" in "Pasto Bueno" were the people living in the area when the conquistadors first showed up. There was a Pasto language (which, sadly, seems to have become extinct).

5:30 That's why Copper-Gold mines were really the target of Japanese in the Philippines during WW2 because of US trade sanctions against them... Japan needed the copper for their economic industries..
