I see that your dress is sitting high on the neck. I have this problem too especially on one side. Shame we're not all symmetrical 🙂

Yes I thought that. It is the side with the buttons on. I think I would be tempted to just put a concealed zip in the back and maybe just sew the shoulder down and just add the buttons for decoration.

Could you use cotton poplin?

I have a Cotten sateen but it’s a heavier fabric, could I use that, doesn’t have much of a drape

I think you could use it, but a heavier sateen will hold the shape and structure of the dress more, so the style will feel different
