This is so helpful as I bought some of your new pre-quilted exclusive fabric. Thanks for all the tips, I'm excited for it to arrive and to start sewing it now!

About to tackle a gilet. Thank you for showing different ways to finish edges and seams. Would it be helpful to serge and edge together before putting a binding edge? I will play around with some scraps but was winding that would control the edge or add bulk.

Very interesting. If you hadn't put the label in, with having bound the seams, it looks as though you could wear it either side. The binding around the sleeve being a feature.

There is definitely scope to use this fabric in a reversible garment if you select the right techniques.

Thank you! Could you use French seams on quilted fabric?

French seams might end up being a bit bulky on quilted fabric. You could use felled seams or finish the seams with bias tape as an alternative to zig-zag or overlocking.
