就这还历史考究，朱元璋的画像是清朝画的 为了丑化明太祖，真的画像是明朝太庙里的画像 朱元璋子女大多仪表堂堂 祖宗长这屌样？遗传学他也不符合啊。 还有朱棣 演得跟弱智一样 按野史在演，永乐皇帝雄才大略 真会弱智到当着百官 给方孝孺荣华富贵 让他写登基诏？ 还有 朱棣靖难 打的旗号是清君侧 诛奸臣，传檄天下的檄文上 方孝孺是奸臣之首，现在清君侧 把君清没了，最大的奸臣如果不杀 反而奉为上宾，朱棣这不是自己打自己脸？所以什么让方孝孺写诏书 方孝孺不愿 然后诛十族 全是扯淡，野史而已。 真实历史上 朱棣登机确实是杀了一批建文旧臣，但是都是靖难之初檄文上的人 也就是怂恿建文帝削藩的代表人物，汤唯的老爸景清为何被杀 就是因为景清是核心人物。事实上只要不是檄文上跳的最欢的那几个 大多数的建文旧臣都是依旧原职 不说被杀 就是职位都没动。而且也不是诛杀九族，女人小孩是没杀的 发配教坊司为奴

Tang Wei is an excellent actress. She could act and made believe that she was a young teen age girl in the TV series while she is actually a 39 years old mature woman. She captured the spirit of the young woman in the story and delivered a wonderful performance. Zhu Yawen is also an excellent actor. I first noticed him in 闖山东。He is like an onion with many layers. He brought alive the character 皇太孫 and got us hooked, wanting to find out what next.

Qin is the first dynasty taht united the kingdoms of ancient China by emperor Qin Shi Huang the emperor ( the role that Zhang Bin Bin played in The King’s Woman) who built the great wall. Qing dynasty is conquered by the Manchurians. Im tired of Qing Dynasty dramas, want to watch more Han ethnic culture dramas. The two dynasties are at least thousand years apart

Before I complain, I DO appreciate the work on the Eng Subs. But lot of it is just... incorrect. Viewers who don't understand Chinese & are reading the subs, they do get the gist of it, but aren't getting the full understanding when the Eng translations/subs are off. Even little things like: 1st sentence spoken by the Empress(?) at beginning right after the poem: She had asked if she looks like the painting. Not "do I look good". 2nd sentence spoke in this opening episode, it was said: I've heard the Emperor... Not "so I know the Emperor..."
