Sarah beti, you´re a good storyteller, mash´Allah. Ignore the stressful people in the comments complaining about it being long. Many of us are here for the details, which enable us to paint a proper picture in our minds. If people don´t have the sabr to listen, they should question the damage to their attention span. Strange times we live in, where people demand stories and proper news, but then don´t possess the patience and will to invest their full focus into it. Attention, an active investement of time and interest are the very basics of acquiring knowledge (or learning so to speak). No wonder society is getting dumbed down, as we shun reading and writing, and have normalised writing some sort of half-spelled, half-legible words. I loved hearing about your family background, as it helped me to get a broad view of it all. As an overseas Pakistani, I also thoroughly enjoyed hearing such clear Urdu and the description of your haveli. I have a huge interest in havelis and think that it´s a unique design which should be celebrated as cultural heritage. You are mash´Allah lucky to have resided in one! Here in the West, it´d would be considered a mansion. I too think that the Jinn were muslimeen and didn´t want your family to move. They may have lived there for centuries, and I´ve heard that they only tolerate human-beings who keep it clean and observe prayers well. And yes beti, what you said about a place being uninhabited for 40 days is a hadith as far as I´ve heard, but I can´t find it online right now. I shall share it as soon as I do, in shaa Allah.

When You start watching regularly, basically you start fearing without you knowing it. Fear happens because we think some of ALLAH's creation are more fearful then ALLAH (Nauzbillah), hence it is a form of shirk. Unless you do zikr, the fear increases a lot. The energy level of humans is usually higher than those of jins. But when You start fearing, you unconsciously do shirk and your spiritual / energy level decreases. This gives the jins a chance to either get a hold of Your or disturb You. Whenever you feel something like this, recite La Ilaha Illallah loudly as it is opposite of shirk. Also don't watch regularly otherwise jins might disturb you or come in your dreams, You never know when they might cross the limit.

Background details dene ka reason bhi hota hai. Nahi hai aap mein patience toh yeh tape skip karke koi aur sunle par kam se kam tameez se toh baat kare.

I live in Unit 6 and my nani has been living since the area was just a jungle with not many houses. Unit 6 is famous for its haunted houses and many eerie stories. Almost all the unit 6 houses are said to be haunted, and there's a strange feeling about Unit 6. Many stories are linked to the famous nursery park, government girls school and the road near Shadman Hall, close to Block E. Even the house next to my nani's is haunted. We saw how people left that house and how workers were unable to rebuild it for 3 years because they experienced paranormal activities. The previous house owners felt the presence of an entity. It's strange, as most of them described the entity as an old man in white clothes. A woman who used to live there and taught the Quran to kids told my nani the same thing. She said there is a man in white beard and white clothes she often saw him praying beside the tree and in a specific room. They also used to hear tap water running, especially during azan. A show similar to Ghost Hunter on Express News I once heard featured that house.
