I prayed in Haghia Sophia for free. That was just in October 2024. They said something in Turkish and I understood Namaz and I was like okay. Same with my wife. She is a Latina and had Hijab on. No questions asked

Few months ago, I prayed Zuhr Namaz in Hagia Sophia,, free of cost.. there was nothing like only for Turkish citizens

The sign does say only for Turkish citizens so even if you are a Muslim you go to the foreigners line. However you have to go up to the Turkish citizens line and tell them you are Muslim and want to pray. They will let you in but not all foreigners know this nor is there any sign saying all Muslim foreigners can go in for prayers. You still have to pay for the museum and other parts of Hagia Sofia though which I think are not worth the absurd fee being charged.

By the way, I was really sorry to hear about the bad experiences you've had. But when your friend has been here for 10-15 years, didn’t he tell you that Hagia Sophia is open for Muslims for prayer timings. And yes, it's of course free of cost. You can visit Hagia Sophia five times a day for prayers. And yes, the upper portion of Hagia Sophia is separated for the museum, and the charges are quite high, so without the museum, all Muslims can visit during the prayer timings."

If you wanted to visit all of these museums there's a museum pass for around 100 euros. You can purchase that, and everything would have been free for you. I live in Turkey. I know that this country has become expensive these days if you compare it with past years but there are ways of optimisation as well. You have to be very smart like you told in the video, to dodge these kinds of stuff. Also, Istanbul (European side) is the most expensive place these days. However, if you go to outskirts of Istanbul it'll be really cheap. And I guess it's the same everywhere, like if you go to Dubai mall it will be expensive but if you buy the similar kind of thing from dera dubai it'll be cheaper but I agree with you it has become really expensive specially in these recent years.

@@salmanalamkhan761 brooo you are so right, i tried the find the all in one pass online but i could not find it. Maybe it was all in turkish thats why or maybe they stopped selling it. Agar woh 100 wala pass miljata toh bohat asaan hojata. Plus you are right that all the major places have become expensive but the turkish european side is the most expensive place i have visited in a while. I get that dubai mall is expensive but its a very famous mall so its obvious but if you roam around dubai city you get a lot of cheap options but dude turkish european side main toh har jaga hi loot macha k rakhi hai. But thanks for the guidance next time agar kabhi gaya toh definitely 100euro wala pass dhoondnay ki koshish karunga.

Dubai was not that expensive before. Global village was free. But now every thing is expensive. When I went to Cairo I saw that the re was student discount for museums , pyramid etc irrespective of which country they belonged.

Same happened to me. I went from USA and had actually lived in Turkey long time ago. I visited Turkey just a few weeks ago and had a disappointing experience of Istanbul. Way too crowded and too many tourists even in November. Everything was absurdly expensive and a tourist trap. Prices were 5 to 10 times the actual value and even street food was over priced. I didn't buy anything just because i know actual prices and the shopkeepers were not willing to reduce prices to reasonable rates. I know bit of turkish language so was able to navigate in the city without getting scammed or anything. Those discos and bars scam are very old ev3n when i was there in 90s.

One thing I always do is always check the prices on menus and on price tags. No prices then its a no go for me. And when it comes to food which you have eaten then you cannot even cancel the sale.

Actually your wrong, in prayer times everyone is allowed for namaz , but your allowed only in prayer area , but for the museum you have to buy ticket

Bhai you need to correct one thing. You were in the wrong cue for prayers in Aya Sofia. The main entrance on the front is for Turkish citizens, and there is another entrance for other nationalities.

Just back from turkyie after completing my ten day visit turkyie cheaper then any European country very hospitable people cheap and delicious food one can have very nice food in 20/25 pounds transport is very very cheap and so is stay all historical places especially Mosques architecture and anteriors are mesmerising and not a single penny is changed from a Muslim from which ever country you belong Yes we had to pay 30 pounds per person to visit topkapi palace and believe it took us full day to visit that wonderful palace its museum makes you astonished and emotional as well I feel one day visit of the palace is not enough to explore it fully Other then Istanbul one must visit Bursa/Konya/ sought if possible In short turkyie is a wonderful place to visit

I did exactly the same while my recent visit to Turkey.. Bus ooper ooper we Dekho all the attractions need not to buy tickets to go inside. Too pricy and rushy.. avoid taxis at all cost.. Rest ko baatein Bhai ne batayi hen 100 percent agreed..
