This why Hyunsik is called the eagle he is very meticulous and precise when it comes to his directing. If you watch hyena on the keyboard you realize why that is. Minhyuk is more laid back in his style.

Everytime it's Hyunsik's version, I can see that your soul just literally left the body to be prepared with Hyunsik's directing. Hyunsik already knew what he wants in mind and that's why he goes with 101% accuracy from the member and tbh, I think he knows that all members can do better and that's why he seems demanding. On the other side, I think Minhyuk's directing is improvisation. He believes in the creativity of members (especially on Eunkwang and Changsub) also he belives in his ability to arrangement and mix later on. I love to see both have such unique apprach also please, you have to watch ALL the recording days in FULL. It's always so fun to see the process and behind the scene of how our beloved songs are made. Thank you so much for reacting to BTOB, they're so underrated and definitely need to be talked about moreeee.

I've seen a lot of you mention the full videos of these recordings and I will definitely check those out. I get the meticulousness of Hyunsik's approach because I am a lot like him as well, but if he was sitting behind me the way he was sitting behind Eunkwang directing him my heart would've dropped to my feet 😂😂😂

I think watching the whole thing would be best! The directing for heaven, wind and wish and the song. Tbh this video exaggerated a lot minhyuk being chill. Actually he went pretty strict with the beat and tempo he wanted several times and him directing changsub and Peniel was pretty different or at least way more detailed. Idk I think you'd find it super cool.

Thanks for reacting to this..I believe this is a fan made video and it's really good and funny at the same time..showing precisely how different they are with their directing ways. Both members are good songwriters, composers and producers but differ a lot when it comes to their recording. Minhyuk is a perfectionist when it comes to himself..tries tirelessly til he's satisfied with his part. But when it comes to the members' parts, he's more laid back and open to suggestions..he's patient when it comes to correcting mistakes and makes it a point to be friendly and smiling when pointing out some advice or suggestions..makes his demands in a friendly and subtle way. With Hyunsik, it's totally different. He is dead serious when recording a song. He envisions the finished song in his mind and makes it a point that it would sound exactly like that when it's done. He aims for perfection and expects it too from his members. He's also friendly, also makes jokes but not as a member but as a director/teacher/mentor. He is nice but so strict when sitting on the director's chair and yes, everyone is scared of him. His song recording could take hours, or the whole night or till the next day until he's satisfied. Most of the times, he's also the one doing the guitar and piano parts of their songs. It may be too much but I guess the members respect him that much coz all his fuss earned them a lot of winnings for the songs that he wrote. He is an artist and a musician to the bone. And these guys are all so good, working together, writing songs, writing their own rap parts, doing the adlibs, harmonies..they have worked hard for everything and everything's so worth it. next time, reaction to the full recording sessions! it would be great to hear a professional’s thoughts on how minhyuk and hyunsik direct the production of their songs~ there are some music terms they use as well and even moments when they choose which version to use but for the life of us cannot determine what’s the difference cause they all sound the same to the average ear 😂
