Mini 1003 FINISHED stdy Hilo, alt wail, alert/attack W/ Roots!

It’s done! Just needs a home now! (Which has already been determined). As for the roots, I used a permanent magnet 120v DC motor out of an electric lawn mower, which has plenty of start and run torque as one would expect.
Not much to say about the pressure relief valve other other than I used a stainless shake spring form a yeti cup for preloading the valve. The coffee filter I thought was a good choice on account of the fine screen also being stainless and the large surface area for filtering. Also it has a 10 conductor plug for easy disconnect. As for paint, it will be painted on site.
There will be more vids of this siren on the installation soon.

You should build a mini Canadian CLM siren with its large rocket nozzle bell shaped (high note) horn and smaller rear periscope/air scoop shaped (low note) horn, built around a 10/12 twin rotor type with a rotating mount. thousands were produced and placed all over Canada in the Cold War 1960's There was a CLM siren tower in my town from the early 60's to 1990's I never heard one powered up until I saw recent videos . It was also made famous for being strapped on a cop car in the 1980 classic , The Blues Brothers, movie. That 1003 sounds like the Broadmoor sirens.

The sound is coming from the siren using a real chopper, real solenoids, and a real blower. No speakers at all.

UPDATE: The 1003 is having issues with one of the solenoids and is having rotator problems which is a bit of a let down for both of us, (Chris and I) so we are trying to fix it now. But other than that everything else is working the way it should.
