Does any one know what the values are for the surface mount resistors they send with the unit . i got them solderd on but dont know wich one is the 5ohm 50ohm or 300ohm

The open one is easy, the 50ohm has an insulator the 5ohm is short

Fabulous video, thank you - you've single handedly filled a huge gap in the user manual technical info. 👍 Regarding the HW Cal, is this a simple touch-screen button pressing exercise (once only) or are hardware configurations required (switch/es) inside the mini1300? The reason I ask is because, in my drive for online information I've found the FAA-450 EU1KY analyser with a good manual, and whilst this kit is not exactly the same as the mini1300, it's archetecture bears a striking resemblance. In the FAA manual it talks about changing a jumper on the RF board to do the HW cal. Thanks in advance. 👍

If you save the calibration, can you avoid needing to calibrate at each use? My SAA-2N says to calibrate each time, even though there are several save slots for saving the calibrations.

Hi there, would you mind giving me the measurements of the screen, hight/width please, I don't know if the measurements given are diagonal or not. All they seem to say in sales blurb is that it has a 4 inch screen. Many thanks

Which cable can I use for Calibrate S21 Gain Calibration, simple a coax cable 50 ohm between VNA and Test Port?

Anyone use this on their 23cm setup? I seem to have SWR results that are all over the board. The unit goes berserk above 1000mhz even into a dummy load. Anyone have any success?

I made my own loads in the video, because the ones that come with the kit are not really good above 700 MHz.

I did, just around a few days ago, and the value of the testing results is almost equal to the KC-901V and the Rigol 815TG.

After intro, Started at about 0:35 without any setup info and totally skipped the initial calibration into 5 ohms. May be a problem but NOT good!
