Your hair is gorgeous Sis. Funny, I clicked on the video because I thought these were microlocks. I guess they look very much like microlocks, except that with microlocks you never have to loosen them. Well done Sis.

I love the style! I often do this or mini twists. results look the same but when you take the frist down there is no tangle but you may have some breakage infront depending on hw you style or/and your hair strengh. With the second no chance for edges breakage but detangling is an expert's activity if you want to avoid breakage do to manupulation. So it take time to take it down totally almost the same time for stiling. That is my experience. But despite all this, i love the two. Pretty much because when you take it down, you can leave it like a twist out and it look like dreadlocks.

Hello, I am more of an african threading girl. As u said love this becus after takedown there are no tangles, I can still restyle for few more days be4 wash day, it keeps moisture far better than twist. It takes almost the same time to do as mini twist but it's easier to take down.

@@Back2NaturalGirls thank you! Ill try this style this weekend! I have waist length hair and I tried mini twists last week. they shrunk to my neck like my loose hair and I knew they would tangle like crazy so I took them out after a couple of days. Ill only be able to do those in the winter. this gives me hope for a stretched summer style.
