Tyler Davis is their any way to actually connect it to say a weather radio, or doppler radar, and use it in the real event of severe weather/Tornado 🌪 ??????

Something I’ve been wanting to look into. I’m sure it can be done.

For the 6M effect, use either a larger blower, or put a spinning metal piece in the blower pipe that would spin pretty slow because of the airflow and make that pulse. Also it sounds great! Just like the real West Bank thunderbolt
@ThunderboltSirenStudios5 ай бұрын
I thought the Minneapolis Thunderbolt had a 5M blower.
@1000BT3 жыл бұрын
A 6M spins at a lower speed if u could slow down the motor u could get the effect
@tylerdavis98203 жыл бұрын
True maybe, but it wouldn’t be as loud.

@@1000BT wouldn’t work. You would need a larger blower that doesn’t need high RPM to move lots of air. That is how a 6M works. It runs at low speeds but puts out a lot of air making the siren louder than it would be with a 4M

So, you built this siren from scratch!! Just curious. I find it very interesting that you are planning to erect your own siren for tornado warning. Maybe your local municipality should take note.

mine better cause it has voice xD but also he make this because thunderbolts arnt made anymore
@SocialistDistancing3 жыл бұрын
@@randomhobbiest5562 ha. I'd like to make my own. I just don't have the machining tools or the time. But it's great that he makes it happen. Maybe he should produce and sell what he builds.

@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL3 жыл бұрын
The real West Bank 1000T is about 126-129dB loud. My guess is that it is closer to 129dB as it is 4/5 port and we all know that is basically the loudest thunderbolt port ratio as it is low pitched
