I Have seen 3 areas/colonies of Bangali peoples in karachi. Reality is that Bangli are very good, intelligent and genius guys. Their colonies not only a area of residence but full economy system are established in their colonies. With the lack of economic resources and social acceptance their life still still good due to him planing and hard struggle. In 1970, while in Karachi, some Bengalis were my colleagues. Being new in Karachi, I was in search of some hired accommodation. I asked one of them for help. I found them sincere and straight forward. They said that they can arrange the accommodation but I would not prefer to live there due to divergent social ethics. I went with them to Mosa Colony and to some families in Sher Shah. They have had their own social way. It is fact that non Bengalis did not merge in their localities. After fall of Decca, a large number of them opted for Bangla Desh but soon some of them returned to Karachi. I personally found them humble people.
