How in the hell have so little views this is by far one of the greatest things on KZbin I love all your builds. Mazda came out with the new rotary for 2019 so once people start getting hip to that they will start looking up rotary engines and by next year you should have millions of viewers.lol

Would you consider adding a Reed Valve at entrance of intake duct into side plate? Yanmar Diesel had wonderful results just from this, see their SAE Technical Papers about Rotary Engines. Blessings +

No, this looks a Sachs KM-48, where 8 stands for top power around 5500 rpm. Over 60 thousand were built, for many uses: pumps, concrete mixers, ski pulling, outboard engines, generators,... The previous KM-37 diferred only in displacement, 108 cc per chamber, vs 160 cc per chamber, from a larger Rotor widhth. Side seals and springs from all these engines, from KM-35 to KM-914, to KC-27, are same, Apex seals are not of same lenght. Blessings +
