In this video I will show you 3 fun things you can make using your KSCRAFT mini book cutting die set. I will show you how you can make mini booklet, a mini book box and a mini file folder for your books.

Thanks so much Eli! The Strawberry Shortcake images are scans of vintage colouring books that I have. There are also a lot of images online. I love Aliexpress as they have a ton of stuff that we just can’t find anywhere else.

That’s awesome Sonia! The words were created with dies that are from Michaels. They’ve been around for many years so I’m not sure if your store will have them.

Thank you 😊 The foam board was purchased from Dollar Tree. It’s those big pieces that are the size of poster board. My favourite glue is the Recollections mixed media glue from Michaels 😉 The one in the video was just something else because I ran out.

Great tutorial, but I don’t know how to reverse the die to make the back cover. Also where can I buy the vintage duck paper?

Hi Rhonda! To make the back cover using solid cardstock, just flip the paper over. If you’re using a pattern paper, just cut the paper on the “ugly” side of the paper or the side you don’t want. If you’re layering an image on such as the book cover, just cut it so that it fits onto the cover. I believe I mentioned the size in the video. If not I could definitely tell you what it is. Hi Maud, to get the pages to fit in the book I imported the images into my Silhouette program and then stretched the images so they'd fit into a square the size of the page.

Hi! My favourite glue is the Recollection Mixed Media glue from Michaels. I really love it because it doesn’t wrinkle your paper, has no odour, provides wiggle room and has a strong bond. The glue bottle has a fine tip but not the finest but after using it for years, you’ll get the hang of how to work it. Have a blessed day 💕

Diem, how did you do the back cover of the book, it only can be cut one way, so it doesn’t look right,

Hi Becky! Anytime you want to mirror the die, especially when you’re working with patterned papers, you can do so by cutting the paper on the opposite side you’d normally cut on. For example if you want glitter cardstock on the back cover, you’d take your glitter cardstock and place the die on the white side of the glitter cardstock (the non glittery side) and cut it. It doesn’t provide a nice finish (like on the typical side you’d cut on) but it gets the job done. I hope that made sense.
