Mini Bronco Foam Board RC Model Airplane
This video is a follow on to my original video of a super simple foam board Bronco RC airplane. This is the Mini Bronco Foam Board RC model airplane, with a two thirds size of the original design (30 inch to a 20 inch wingspan). The foam board RC wing construction is detailed, and this is a great DIY RC planes for beginners.

Foam board RC plane designs can vary a great deal. This is a simple model to build that flies great and looks different from other models at your RC field. I use three channels, for throttle, elevator and aileron. The model handles very well.
For the Mini Bonco, I use normal 20" by 30" by 3/16" foam board. I employ the Park BL250 electric motor (StevensAero.com), a Spektrum AR620 receiver, Castle Talon 15 ESC and Hitec HS40 servos.

Great looking plane! I’m going to try this soon I think, my plane building ability is seriously lacking, the price of being a “newbie” I guess! Really enjoy your videos, I tried the Lancer got it built but never could get mine to fly, keep diving down and going left no matter where I put weight . I’m sure I’ve done something wrong but it was still fun building it. First attempt at building so I’m happy it “ looked “ like the picture....lol. Thanks for your videos

Hey Tim. Love your videos! I’m looking to build this model and I’d like to have full size plans printed at my local staples. On what size paper would I have these printed on to be full scale? Ex: 24x36? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jeremy: Chat with the Staples rep, print size depends on the paper size for their printer. Also, as the Bronco all straight lines, very easy to sketch out the fuselage booms directly onto the foamboard. I also have a video on enlarging plans, check it out! Tim

I would love to make this but foam board is soo heavy (because of the thick paper) and expensive here in Australia so I might try another material any ideas ?
