I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

My personal experience. The prints kept fading within 24 hours. I googled the issue. It says we can use a warm press iron or hot hair dryer on the wrong side to get back the print. See if this is helpful.

Well, I have had prints that have lasted almost two years now I kept the prints in a file.maybe it’s the thermal paper brand or quality that could be the cause

your ripping it in the wrong direction pull down towards the spikey part thats what helps get a clean cut. other than that your video was a huge help. hope my tip helped you

When you double click the side button it prints a qr code but also tells you the battery percentage, also when you connect to the app it tells you on the menu On the one I got, but like he said there's lots of different models that all look the same

Got this from aliexpress tried this app and it all works fine but my bluetooth will not turn off it reverts to on all the time. When i uninstall the fun print app bluetooth is fine. Im using a tcl 40 se. Starting to regret not paying a little more for a branded printer with support

Yes even if you put different colour thermal paper, it will still print black and white. It’s an ink less printer relies heavily on the paper you put to print.

I know this device works with the fun print app so if you want to use it on your PC you would need an android emulator such as BlueStacks or something similar.

There are a few apps which may be unique to your device. When your device is turned on, double press the power button and your printer should print a qr code to the app you need.

Sorry you had a bad experience, I also had similar situation with the thermal paper but after a long argument with the supplier i managed to get a refund but you have to be careful who you are purchasing from.

From what I read on certain tech-related imageboard, these thermal printers work just about right with certain open source drivers and applications, which is nice. Definitively a very useful item even if the design is kinda toyish.

All the time Unfortunately the only work around is taking that big roll and then rolling little at a time and putting into the Machine

I don't know what happened to my printer. This is the same model and color as yours. It used to print properly, but since I left it stopped for a few weeks without printing anything, when I decided to use it again, it wasn't working anymore. In spite, it turns on and connects to the Bluetooth, it doesn't print anything anymore... The paper doesn't move... 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Okay when u turn it on you would hear a sound which it pushes and pull the paper slightly and if you click the power button twice it should test print and I suggest you flip the paper roll on each side to see which side actually prints because thermal paper only works on one side so let me know if that helps
