When I saw the wasp nest, I couldn't believe it. I have kept one on my desk for over 30 years. Do you know the Australian artist Lorna Crane? I would encourage you to check her work. She works from nature and makes scrolls and brushes...enormous, human size brushes from what she gathers on walks. You have a talent for words and an obvious eye. Challenge yourself to go beyond journaling when the time is right.

Thank you Aimee, I am thinking I am going to try your technique on canvas, I love the colors you are using...very organic. Do you select your papers first before working on the surface layers? I am excited to explore and just let go. you make it look so liberating!

Hi! Yes I do usually select a small collection of papers before starting the background. But I enjoy the “nesting” part of a project. If you don’t you can totally start with backgrounds and build from there. Thanks for watching!!

You need to speed up your video. This is too long for what it is.
